Hôtel Patricia

Our stay at Hotel Patricia in Strasbourg were, uncomplicated and welcoming, It's one of our First choice Hotel in Strasbourg. We cannot wait to return in the very near future. We highly recommend this Hotel.

I booked this hotel due to the location and good review on Booking.com. I went there not expecting much, but the experience was even worse than my expectation. Before arriving, we received an email saying check-in was at 2pm but that we could leave out bags there from 8am on. We arrived there at around 11:30 and the hotel was closed (they could have warned us about this 3 hour lunch break). So we dragged the bags around until 2pm which was the time the hotel was supposed to reopen according to the indication at the door. At 2pm no answer still. So we waited for around 15 min while I tried calling and emailing and then finally they gave us an access code and we went to our room. Turns out online check-in was actually at 2:30pm but we only received this information after we were able to check-in. The room was simple but okay for what we needed. However the bathroom clearly had not been cleaned after the previous guests since we found empty shampoo sachets in the shower. We were lucky it wasn’t that cold too because the heater in the room wasn’t working. There was no duvet in the beds, only a throw blanket so at night we were very cold and needed to wear out jackets to sleep. The last day we had one more disappointment: we received an email during check-in saying we could leave our bags at the reception after checkout. When I asked the reception they said this was not possible anymore due to corona. While I understand the safety measures I was extremely frustrated they told me one thing in the email and another after. We were counting on leaving our bags there, reason why we booked a hotel and not an Airbnb. They let us leave our bags in the room until 2pm (checkout was at 11am) but still we had to cut our trip short and return early because the bags were too heavy to carry around all day. Extremely disappointed and definitely do not recommend. My standards are low but Hotel Patricia was too much.

Excellent location in the old city center close to st thomas. The room was Spacious and minimalist. The historical building has a lot of character. The staff is very welcoming.A good value for a city trip

Very good location. In the centre, close to shops, restaurants and transports. The room was nice, but the curtains of the shower should be changed for something else ASAP . It was clean and well decorated.

Nicely located in the heart of the town, close to all attractions and shops, nice and welcoming stay, easy check in , the room i stayed in was very clean and huge but had a shared bathroom, which was no big problem for me.
