Got there late. Fast food near, along with Bar and grill. Agent pleasant. No issues. Parking well lit. Movie theater next door if you have time. Mattress a bit soft for my liking, other than that, room was clean and stocked. Would stay again.

We experienced two problems - the heater did not work and the carpet was next to the wall of an adjacent room. These weren't discovered until late at night so we told the staff person the next day. He made a note on our bill to inform the management. After a week, we still had not heard from a manager. I called and asked to talk to the manager. I was given a number so I called. The call went to voice mail. Now, after almost another week I still have not heard back from management. The only reason I give this 2 instead of 1 is that the onsite staff were fine. Problems happen, but management has never acknowledged the problem. As a Choice Hotel member, this has been greatly discouraging.

Avoid, not worth the money, wouldn't couldn't sit in the chairs, see attached pics. Towels were thread bare. Crazy awful, never again! Very dirty, should have walked when that chair greeted us in the lobby.

I had to lasst minute check in to this place because of the weather. I only slept there for four hours. The help behind the desk was extremely rude and seemed upset that I would expect him to be able to help me. All the while he was putting down competitor hotel. The room stank and was dirty and the lamps in the room didn't all have bulbs nd the heat didn't work at all, and it was -20 that night, so I was almost frozen by morning. The next morning a nicer gentleman was behind the desk and he promised to have a manager contact me,. I called back several times and was finally able to get a number, which i called. After several calls and voicemails and a few weeks, I'm still waiting on the callback...
Update to my 2018 May review

After finally getting in contact with correct manager who was involved in the transaction, the matter was easily and gladly corrected. I am pleased to send in this positive update and heartily recommend this property. On my next trip traveling home from Palm Springs in 2019 February I plan to stay here at least 1 night It was unfortunate my first attempts to resolve the matter with other managers occurred. And I am certain the managers will have taken steps to not have that happen again Stay here! Enjoy it! It will be good value
