If I could give zero stars I would!
If you like staying in stained filled filth, this is the place for you! The place is awful! It is dirty. There were blood stains on both bedspreads. There was hair left in the shower/tub. If there was toilet paper in the toilet, it took three times to flush down. A bag was left, wrapped around the smoke detector. This occurs so someone can smoke pot and not set off the alarm. The cleaning personnel did not take this down.
Nice clean. new furniture and beds
I was on my way to Rapid City and stayed at this hotel and this Motel 6 is way batter then other motels 6. The furniture was new and the mattresses were new and very comfortable. one of the few hotels that I woke up and my back was not hurting. The rooms were nice quiet and clean. on a bonus side, it was an easy check-in and way easier check out
DONT STAY HERE
I stayed here the other night on my way home from Sioux Falls, it was late checked in and I am pretty tolerant of cheap hotel rooms. This place was right there with the worst of the worst. Wipe up some spilled water off the floor and the cloth turned black with dirt. Walked in the room and the shower stall was horrible, floor drain was filthy. Mold on the ceiling above the shower stall. No tissues, towels were thin as threads. Did not shower, went home without one. The door safety latch was missing, window did not close or latch. Refrigerator was really noisy and had to unplug it. The heater AC unit in the fan on low position smelled bad, turned it off. Got really cold in the room very thin bed coverings, I should have slept in my pickup. Middle of the night a fight broke out and some clown, I assume the loser, started yelling call 911 for about 15 minutes or so. Not sure if anyone did help the guy or if some other guest called. Way too much BLM and Antifa stuff going on for me to help. I wished I’d had taken photos to post. Overall it was unsafe, unclean and I would not recommend this hotel to a homeless person.
Got myself outta there!
I have never left a hotel before! It was horrendous! Look at my other reviews...I'm a positive person. First room...filthy and bed not finished. Second room...still dirty floors but bed at least done. First parking spot...shattered glass everywhere. Had to get a broom from front desk and sweep out from under my car before moving to the other side of the building. Second parking spot...shattered glass all over the spot next to my car. Front desk claims they don't know of any break-ins. BS. Debated staying. As I was talking to another hotel guest in the parking lot sharing my concern, 2 shady characters came out from behind the hotel. They saw us in the parking lot lighting and backtracked immediately back behind hotel. Then minutes later they meet a car/driver in lot and "share some things". I was outta there! A friend who lives in Fargo shook his head at where I attempted to stay. Said they probably rent rooms by the hour and it's a bad area. Just sayin! I'm sure I would've had an insurance claim on my car that was broken into if I stayed there.
Comfortable Place
Nice staff that checked us in. Got the feeling it's in a not so good part of town. Place could use some up dating. The pool wasn't open for us to use. Ok for a quick over night sleep which is what we wanted.
