Wonderful Staff and Friendly Customer Service, Maintenance shows a Clean, well Maintained Property
I am staying at Extended Stay America and the Staff at the front desk offers a Friendly Respectful attitude towards everyone that approaches the Lobby .When we checked in the Staff accommodated my request for a Room that was for the disabled and close to the Elevator . "Happy!". As our stay became longer due to the "COVID-19 pandemic, We were all "scared" , no one knew what was going on! The Staff , was quick to make sure every room had the new policies for the Covid-19, explaining the changes to the Hotel for safety reasons. There were plexy glass windows added to the front desk for everyones safety.Signs posted everywhere about the Hotels policy for safety! All those Months of not "knowing "what was coming with this Pandemic, the Staff stayed positive. The room itself was clean, and comfortable. The bathroom has disability bars in the bathroom ,in the tub and around the toilet.With a built in shower chair ! Looking out the window we have a nice view of the sunset at nite and a large lawn with trees and flowers, very pretty. This Hotel is close to exits and on ramps to 84 East or West. Close to Hartford, Uconn Teaching Hospital, Gas stations and Lots of Restaurants for delivery take out. Also a great Pizza place 1/2 mile from the Hotel. Overall I really like the Hotel, you will not be disappointed !
Perfect stay
Check in was a breeze and the clerk was friendly and helpful. Room was big, comfortable, clean, quiet. Staff was friendly and greeted us whenever we walked through the lobby. Great prices. Perfect location along I 84 and close to Hartford.
ESA for Dream Ride 2019
I stayed here with my son for Dream Ride 2019, a local fundraising car/motorcycle show that draws thousands to Farmington. As one of the closest motels to the event grounds, I reserved a room with two queen beds in January at Extended Stay America - directly with the motel - knowing full well there wouldn’t be a vacant motel room for miles around that weekend. Apparently, the motel couldn’t foresee that it would be full for the weekend, however, as it overbooked. So I get a call from the motel the day I arrive in Farmington from Pennsylvania that it has overbooked, my accommodation was given to another party who booked the same day in January, but that they were nice enough to save the last room in the place - a queen/sofa bed room - for us. I asked the front desk clerk if the motel would do anything for us beyond charging us the regular rate for the downgraded room. In response, she made a big deal about taking off the AAA discount I booked under at check-in rather than check-out. I’ll avoid ESA in the future if this is how they treat customers. I may have anyway, due to pungent aroma of marijuana that was everpresent on the second floor of the hotel the whole weekend.
Very nice stay
I was pleased with my stay here. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Room has full size frig, stove, and everything you need to cook. Breakfast is for the light eater. Instant oatmeal, muffins, and granola bars. I would recommend staying here.
Very old with bare minimum facilities
This hotel is a budget stay hotel, with bare minimum facilities. This is located in a remote place in Farmington . Pros - 1. Has a kitchenette with decent selection of utensils. 2. The staff is polite and ready to help. Cons- 1. The cleaning done is on a weekly basis and not all the toiletries are replenished. 2. The breakfast is limited to cereal bars and coffee. 3. The room service is not all that good.
