Top place to eat at Fieldberg

Though this place is a bit steep/costly, their afternoon meals are a good deal. His place has a very warm feel to the entire place. Has excellent menu and a good child friendly room . The bar was great too. Have a look at the pics to see their Salads and meets

Nicely situated, clean and friendly

We stayed over for three nights with another couple. Both rooms offered everything you need and kept us warm at those cold black forest winter nights. The bus for the ski slopes leaves basically just in front of the door, it's not even a 5 min walk. Another big Plus is the offered "Hochschwarzwaldkarte", which has great value for your daily activities. The only thing I was not too happy about was the menu, including the wine selection in the restaurant. The food was in general good, but slightly overpriced. Same goes for the wines, especially the overseas and spanish ones easily tripled or quadruplet their prices. Apart from that - all good!

I had my supper here and it was great, tasty and delicious. The weitresses are very polite and the place has a typical, traditional touch. I adore Black Forest and could imagine to book a room in this hotel for a short ski trip in winter.

Nice room, but disappointing restaurant

We spent a night here without having done any previous research on our way back from a tour to Italy. We simply went to the first hotel we found on our route as evening approached. We had a nice room, but found the restaurant expensive and not as good as we wished

A very nice place to stay for a family vacation

Breakfast is very rich and tasty. The rooms are big enough for a family of five to live comfortably. Location is excelent for all attractions and you get the black forest (Red) card which can save you alot of money.
