Great for an overnight stay
Have stayed here a couple of times after an evening flight into Geneva. Comfortable room, lovely bar/restaurant and free car parking. Perfect. Great breakfast too - then off up the mountain before everyone else! Rooms have a sofa bed for kids which means them sharing - Novotel Suites on the Swiss side gives single beds, but tends to be more expensive and have to pay for parking too.
extremely friendly staff
Located very close to the Swiss border/Geneva airport, this hotel is in France and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Rooms are clean and comfortable and of the good standard you would expect from the 'Accor' chain. The staff (reception, and bar) could not have been better. The gentlemen at reception organised a taxi for a very early departure to the airport (too early for the free hotel shuttle) and then helped with bags at 4am, all in a very friendly and efficient manner. Highly recommended if you are looking for somewhere to stay near the airport.
BEWARE: HORRIBLE PLACE.DO NOT STAY. Rude+inefficient staff. Deteriorated+dirty hotel (oh & they broke my luggage, too)
I had previously stayed at this hotel about 2 years ago. Thought it was nice, well kept, and so when my flight at GVA airport was cancelled, I didn’t hesitate to make a reservation here. BUT OH, THE REGRETS. NEVER AGAIN. If I could give them a worse rating than “Terrible”, I would. Something like “Shut this hotel down”. Started with me calling the hotel to let them know I needed of their free shuttle service from the airport, the person who answered the phone said they would send someone over. About an hour into waiting in the bitter cold, I called again to ask if perhaps I got the location for pick up wrong (I was standing where the rest of the hotel shuttles were, so I doubted that was the case, but I guess you never know) to which the clerk on the phone rudely and loudly responded something along the lines of “WELL TRAFFIC MISS! What you want?!” (being located 10 minutes away, and having waited over an hour, really? Traffic?) this happened during their shuttle hours. I made it to the hotel, finally. Start my check in, person at reception can’t seem to find my reservation. At last, I am given a check in paper to sign - not mine. Whilst the receptionist is on a mission to find the right information, the other check in person is fumbling through his computer, too. There were two teens/young adults on him about a reservation that should be there, too. The teens gave the receptionist just about every name they could think of. Until the receptionist gave up and just called them behind the counter to go through the information on his screen. WHY WOULD YOU SHOW PEOPLE YOUR SCREEN WITH THE INFORMATION OF YOUR GUESTS?! Basic hospitality 101, you don’t. It’s called security reasons. At this point I am not only am I exhausted from waking up at the crack of dawn to catch a flight that was cancelled and growing a bit anxious from the scene unfolding before me, but I was also famished and couldn’t wait to get something for room service from their “oh so praised” restaurant. Finally, the receptionist that was checking me in sorts my room out and I am directed to the restaurant to make my room service order because according to the check in guest, “it would be more efficient”. The ever delightful and extensive menu options were never ending: plate of ham, or plate of cheese, or plate of pâté, or read that again. Disappointed and still hungry, I went to the room. Surely, at least a nap would help and by then maybe I could go to the restaurant and see how different the dinner menu was. Wasn’t sure I could be anymore disappointed at this point, but somehow they managed. I walked into a room that looked SO OLD AND DETERIORATED and did not seem to be all too clean. The furniture was stained with goodness knows what, seemed like mold. The bed wasn’t properly made and did not look like you should go under the covers. The whole scene really was nerve wrecking. At this point I’m too exhausted to go back out and fight it out - I JUST PLACED MY AIRPLANE SHAWL ON TOP OF THE BED AND LAID THERE WITHOUT TOUCHING ANYTHING. Woke up for dinner. Went to see the menu of the restaurant, with the backup plan to get a taxi and find a restaurant if all went wrong. Had a handful more of options, so I stuck around. Ordered the thing YOU CAN LEAST SCREW UP: a Caesar salad. That thing was far from it. I received lettuce with oil and balsamic vinegar, half cooked pieces of chicken, and some Parmesan. Fast forward, I order another plate, it was fine. Headed back to my room to sleep off what was left of the night, as I had to be in the airport bright and early. Attempting to shower in their bathroom without a shower curtain or a hanging shower head was messy and chaotic. WATER EVERYWHERE. Poorly design bathroom area. As a person who recently had knee surgery and struggled a bit to sit or flex, in an attempt to diminish the amount of water going everywhere, it was not just annoying, but actually painful. AS IF THAT WASN’T ENOUGH. The cherry on top of this horrid experience, took place in the morning. The shuttle driver packed up my luggage into the car, and I hopped on. Within the first 3 minutes of driving we hear a loud falling noise - I figured the driver must have left the luggage standing and it just fell on its side - I winced, a few fragile belongings, but I figured it would be okay. I get dropped off at the airport AND OH SURPRISE - BROKEN LUGGAGE! Driver was nowhere to be found at that point.
Overnight stay Great

Convenient hotel
Good hotel for visiting local family. Not far from Geneva and the airport. Very friendly staff looked after us over the New Year. I would think the pool would be great in the Summer. Great little bar but didnt try the restaurant.
