Spacious and comfortable

Reviewed 18 september, 2019

The riad is beautifully decorated, a few steps away from the blue gate which is the entrance to the medina. The place is very clean and well-maintained. There is a terrace on the rooftop which you can see the view of medina or chill with your friends. The owner is friendly and helpful. We recommend this place if you are finding riad in Fes.

Fair enough

Good rooms with large bathrooms. In relation to the Medina is well positioned. The breakfast is suficient nothing to tell , it could easily be much better! The service is inexistent, the rooms aren’t cleaned until check out , at least both our rooms weren’t.

Superplace to sleep! Romantic, beautifully decorated Riad.

We were in this Riad last year and this year we went again. It turned out that the owner had realised a fourth bedroom, also beautifully decorated!!! Super! The Riad is situated in the Medina, but not far from a big parking place where you can park your car nearby at the Place Boularouz. The atmosphere in de Riad is great. All white walls with traditional Maroccan decorated doors and windows, gives a feeling of rest and peace. The rooms are big and very nicely decorated too. The beds are comfortable and big. Breakfast is also very good. The owner is friendly and helpful. We found this Riad the best we had while travelling in Marocco. We can absolutely recommend this Riad and were very happy to have been there again!

Peace and tranquility, the perfect place to relax after a day in Fes

Reviewed 4 april, 2018

We had a wonderful stay taking two rooms in this lovely friendly Riad. The Riad has a terrace with comfortable furniture for perfect relaxation, listening to the mesmerising calls to Prayer and watching the sunsets. Eric the owner was extremely hospitable, providing delicious breakfasts with a smile. He organised taxis from and to the airport and is able to arrange day trips. The Riad is quiet and peaceful, a welcome oasis of calm after exploring the streets of Fes. The rooms are clean, light and airy and have eclectic mixes of local and modern art on the walls. There is some street noise in places but nothing too disruptive. Air con is provided and on colder evenings was great to use as heating! We would definitely visit this Riad again.

Traditional Riad down an Alleyway...

Reviewed 20 march, 2018

Good: The property is large, the rooms are huge and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is also spacious with a separate toilet and walk-in quality shower. Contrary to what the owner assured us, Fez city bus No.16 does go to the airport from just outside the train station for 4 MAD each. Bad: There is no information at the entrance of the alleyway or outside the property so you’ll need GPS to find it. We stayed in two different rooms and neither had a TV. The rooms are very high and cold but there is Air-con to warm them up. The cold basic breakfast is served on quality tableware and consists of coffee, fruit juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt, sponge and assorted pancakes.
