Hannam & Massage
We were recommended the Hannam here by the hostel staff where we were staying. It was a bit of a walk but flat. The guys who greeted us were friendly and we chose the bath, sauna and massage. We were offered tea and water throughout our 2 and a half hour stay. The mud, the scrub including feet, the wash down were thorough. They washed our hair as well. The sauna and steam room were great. My wife and I were attended to by men which my wife was ok with. We both then had full massages and I mean full, whole body including head. Very thorough and a bit intimate at times! We were the only clients in there so were very well looked after. For €40 each, we can’t complain.
I would not recommend their Turkish Hammam
I have had a Turkish bath in Turkey a few years back and the experience was just amazing. Back in Turkey, I thought I will have one again. When I asked around, a local recommended the spa at this hotel, so we went. Although the ladies that did our bath were nice, the place is as unprofessional as it gets: the same guy who picked us up wanted to give me and my sister our bath! He did not even give us a choice - the place is not super clean, the towels are overused. They had the news on, instead of having some music to help relax. We had also booked a massage after the Hammam - we waited for almost 30 minutes and no one came. When we asked about it, we were told the masseuse(s) are having lunch... We ended up leaving before getting the massage. It sure was not the best start to my Fethiye holiday.
Very good view from balcony
This small hotel is facing the sea of Fethiye with excellent views of the ships and yachts and blue water from balconies. However, the food is not that good and the restaurant is poor. The room is relatively small but clean. The Wifi is good.
Not worthy of 4 stars
Good location and great staff but the rooms are very shabby. The shower leaked and the bathroom dirty. There were spare beds in the communal areas and the pool not suitable for sunbathing. The main clientele is commercial travellers. I would not say this hotel is suitable as a holiday destination for more than a couple of days. It needs a complete refurb.
Ata Park Hotel, located near a very quiet harbor, is somewhat farther from the midtown of Fethiye. Our room was not very big, yet its small balcony, equipped with only one chair, was very delighting. Standing on the balcony you can marvel at the turquoise Mediterranean Sea and feel the salty breezes. The staff are kind and nice enough to answer questions and solve problems. The hotel served quite limited food and drinking, and the coffee machine was not working when I was there, which was very disappointing. A piece of advice for oncoming guests is that higher floors have better sea views and sunshine.
