Christmas break
My wife and I have just returned from a much-needed 2night stay here. From the moment we checked in to the time we departed, we were looked after brilliantly by the staff. Check-in was warm and informative and we were told where everything was and timings for meals etc. Our executive room was beautiful, clean and spacious with a very roomy bathroom - fabulous big shower .Breakfast was served in the bistro.The choice at breakfast was good - fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurts and then a good range of cooked items.
Excellent experience
We had an overnight Dinner , Bed and Breakfast stay and thoroughly enjoyed. Everything met expectations with dinner and breakfast especially hitting the spot. Thanks to Alistair who made sure we were well looked after. COVID protocols were thorough and strictly enforced. Recommended 👍
Very good in these strange times
Stayed for 2 nights in October, the hotel is very sorted out with all the current restrictions and we enjoyed our stay. We both manged 10 hours sleep each night which was the rest and break we needed. Had a couple of hick ups with the breakfast mainly items arriving at the same time. We felt the evening menu was lacking in vegetarian options and expensive for what we had. The weather was kind to us and we visited the cathedral, the castle and the botanical gardens as well as having a good walk round the town. We had a lovely meal at tail end too.
Excellent stay
We enjoyed a great one night stay. The room was excellent and had everything we could need. Alistair on reception was particularly helpful and helped us out with an issue in our booking. Will stay again.
The best hotel service in the world
Prior to Covid I travelled the world business and have stayed in 100s of hotels. I have never, and I mean never received such outstanding service, food, and attention to detail as I have here. Alistair who welcomed was a gent and great host, dinner was simply outstanding. I ended up booking an extra night so I could appreciate the service and surroundings for that extra few hours. If your are wondering where to stay in sr Andrews, stay here. You won’t want to leave. Thanks so much hotel du vin staff for providing 3 days of joy during these awful times.
