I was supposed to stay here two nights the 4th and 5th of March, 2022. I checked out after one night. The sink and tub were dirty, there was no hot water. Most hotels I've stayed in have a nice chair to sit in, my room had a plastic outside chair. Walls were paper thin, I could tell exactly what my neighbors were doing.....I was going to complain the next morning, but there was nobody at the desk, ever....nothing for breakfast, not even a loaf of bread or stale roll. I left a note on my key card stating I wanted a refund for the day I didn't stay but was still charged full price. Never again, and the sad part is I am in the hotel business and know what to expect, and this was not even close. I complained to Expedia who contacted the hotel and they would not refund my money. 129.00 for no coffee in the room, dirty and no hot water...steer clear of this place

I was on a motorcycle trip and stopped here because it was the closest place on my gps! I and my brother was charged 149.00 for a small two bed room! When I got back home to S.D. I looked online on there website and found that the same room that we had was 85.00!!!??? WHAT A RIPOFF!!!!

We've stayed at other America's Best Value Inns but this one was near the top of the list for excellent guest service, cleanliness, and friendly management. The rooms were basic but that was reflected in the price. We don't mind basic if prices fairly match. Everyone in our group enjoyed the automatic pancake maker in the eating area. After dozens of hotels with waffle makers, pancakes were a welcome change. The parking lot needs a little work but the owner is eager and earnest and he is gradually making everything better so the cracks in the pavement were no big deal. Don't let them scare you away! Believe us, we had a much better stay here than in the overpriced, poorly maintained, and unfriendly Americinn down the road in Mora.

We picked this hotel as it was the cheapest deal between Cloquet and Hinckley. The room was clean and comfortable with a good firm bed. It was nothing fancy but probably equivalent to the Duluth Days Inn we often stay at. Our king room faced the back and was very quiet and included a microwave and small fridge.

This place is clean, comfortable and right off the highway. We spent the night here after the Jerry Seinfeld show in Duluth. Most cheap "just stay the night" hotels in Duluth are 100-120 $, and their reviews are not as good as this one. It´s a reason for that! Not only is this hotel way cheaper, it´s still close to Duluth, and the owners are super nice and friendly. He upgraded us to a double bed room without us asking, and when you are there you have to try the pancake machine they have there, they simply amazing! Also, the Wifi is fast and actually stays connected to your device throughout the whole stay unlike a lot of other hotels that have solutions that makes you log in over and over.
