Best CHOICE ‼️
Check in process was super simple and fast. With recent renovations the room was absolutely stunning, bed was comfortable, rooms are super clean ! The hotel general manager Eddie is the ABSOLUTE BEST !!

We had a problem with the TV we call front desk and the girl came to the room and solved the problem Excellent customer service. Excellent hotel in Fishkill NY
I frequently stay at the Magnuson hotel. The hotel is very clean and now even better with the recent renovations and construction. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Jeff and Eddie go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay at the hotel. I highly recommend the Magnuson to anyone traveling or staying in the Fishkill area. Fred E
location good but hotel is old and it shows
Stayed this weekend - good location in that you can easily walk to Red Line Diner, Cracker Barrel, Stone Cold Creamery, Panera. There is a gas station just next door. The mattress in my room was nicely firm. Unfortunately the tub bottom was showing its age and one bath towel was so worn it was threadbare in spots. And the walls are paper thin - I could hear people in the hall at all hours.
Budget hotel in good location
I expected a budget hotel, based on the price for 3 nights, but I was still disappointed. The good parts: the clerk was very friendly, the location was good, there wasn't any road noise, and there was a diner within walking distance for drinks in the evening. The bad parts: poor lighting, tub that drained slowly so we stood in water while showering (yes, we asked for it to be fixed, no, it wasn't fixed), hard beds, no trash can for the sink area, and a general sense of being run down. I'd recommend it for one night, if your budget doesn't allow for any of the nicer chains nearby.
