Good hotel
Stayed here one night. Was able to check in before 4. Checkin was fast and friendly. Room was very clean, but A/C seemed to cycle a lot and wasn’t very quiet. Some maintenance was need for slow draining tub and loose toilet paper holder. Was going to report it at checkout, but desk was unattended at 3 in the morning. Also thought there was 24 hour coffee, but saw none where it should be. Also the light over desk in room was controlled by a wall switch, but if you turned it off, it shut off outlets, ports to charge phones.Wiring to room was strange and confusing to say the least.Overall,a very nice stay.
Excellent hotel and staff!
The hotel had some unforeseen issues arise, but they took such good care of their guests during it. Excellent job by the team! They also follow all covid guidelines. This is why I only stay at Marriotts!
Great respite
Hotel was busy, but staff was very helpful and accomodating. Room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. We were able to order in food easily. Hot breakfast looked good, but we had to get on the road. Good places to walk our dog.
One of my faves!
I have stayed multiple time, and always had a restful, pleasant experience. The staff are generally v polite and the rooms are super clean - even pre Covid. The little studios are cute - perfect for a working vacation. It's not a great place for preparing meals - the minibar fridge is not strong enough to keep things fresh - but other than that, it's all good. Very Hudson Valley vibe - friendly, unpretentious and private. A winner.
Definitely Recommend
My husband and I came up here for the weekend. We were trying to stay in Poughkeepsie but everything was sold out. We have a child in college up in that area. We wanted to use Marriott Bonvoy points and were able to book a room here. It was really a great place to stay. Super clean, anytime you stepped out of your room, you could see they were constantly sanitizing. Great safety protocols and the rooms were a nice size. They have a breakfast included in your stay which is fantastic. We thought it might be like donuts but you could get eggs, sausage, etc. I have Celiac disease and they had a whole a whole gluten free menu. They made me bagels in an allergen free toaster. I was super impressed with this hotel.
