Very comfortable stay
We stayed one night, on our stopover to our final destination. This time we decided to book in a hotel outside of the airport, as the price of Isola Sacra was very convenient. We expected to see a small hotel, on the contrary, it is a big building with a large outdoor space, including the swimming pool. Our room was clean and comfortable and the personnel was kind and helpful. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, which we found cozy, the food was abundant and tasty. The menu, despite the reduced choice because of the Covid-19 constraints, seems to be designed to meet Italian and non-Italian tastes. Overall we were very happy about our choice. There is a shuttle bus connecting Fiumicino airport and the hotel(s). I guess the transportation is run by an external service provider. Despite the precise explanations from the hotel reception, it was not easy to find the shuttle stop, because it is not well displayed at the airport itself. However, the shuttle driver was very caring and polite. It took us less than ten minutes to reach the hotel. I would certainly recommend this option for travelers on a stopover in Fiumicino.
Event cancelled due to Covid but had no refund and they're ignoring our emails & calls!
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We had a large event booked there earlier in the year, which was cancelled due to Coronavirus. We have paid them about €11,000 and they have not refunded any of it and are completely ignoring our emails. We understand it's a difficult time for businesses everywhere so we waited many months but the fact that they are completely ignoring our emails and not giving us any updates is so unprofessional. Whenever we call they say the managers are not around because they're sick (it's been 7 months, they can't be sick for that long!), and there's no one else who can help. It's just such terrible customer service. Many of our guests who were meant to stay with us were also struggling to get refunds. Even when planning the event we had so many issues where they kept adding on charges for everything and were so difficult to work with. We stayed there in January 2020 to plan things and the rooms are so tiny and didnt seem very clean, it does not seem like a 4 star hotel at all. If there is any chance your trip might be cancelled don't book a room with them, and I definitely would not recommend any big events with them!!
Comfortable and Quiet
The staff were friendly and did all they could to make my stay pleasant and comfortable. It was a nice place of refuge after a stressful, long day trying to rebook a cancelled flight. The level of service was impressive.
One Stop Hotel
The room was clean and comfortable. They have a restaurant right on the property and food was tasty. The breakfast was a nice spread of different cheeses, proteins, pastries with juices and coffee and tea. The staff was helpful and pleasant.
Ok for one night only
This is not a good hotel. But hotel standards in Italy is terrible overall I think! Its close to the airport, about ten minutes drive. The rooms look old and is not very cozy. But for just one night this was ok. Nothing more, nothing less.
