Great place to relax!

The location is to die for! We had the suite on stilts and the view from there was AMAZING! We had dinner the first night at the floating restaurant. Great experience and the food was very good! In room dining experience was also great. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Overall great stay.

Perfect Hotel, perfect stay!

Fantastic hotel. The location is absolutely amazing. The suites are big and very comfortable. Try the Princely Suite, it is the utmost luxury! But I have to emphasize the PLUS of this hotel: the food is so good that it deserves a 3 star Michelin and the services provided by the awesome people, from the restaurants to the concierge deserve a 6 star. And I have to mention their names: Divya, Intiaz, and Yash in the concierge; Paz, Sen, Guillaume, Gloria, Yash, Clayton (sommelier), Adarsh, and Vijay in the restaurant (and forgive me if I forgot someone). Fantastic people and fantastic services. We recommend this hotel to everybody that wants a great vacation.

ANOTHER MEMORABLE VISIT

This was our second stay at Le Prince and it continued to excel in every way. The all inclusive package was exceptional and overall from the rooms to the staff to the food the resort could not have been better. Special mention to Gloria, Sunil, Ken and Hurry who went out of their way to serve us and to Sashi on the beach. The boat staff were all brilliant and always so courteous and willing to assist in every way. A big thanks again to Susie Freeman travel for organsing our stay - hopefully we will be back next year. To all at Constance Prince Maurice thank you for a fabulous trip so enjoyed by ourselves and our teenage children.

Fantastic Stay At The Prince Maurice

We stayed at the Prince Maurice for 11 days and had a wonderful time. We stayed in a villa on stilts which had incredible views over the lagoon and was very comfortable. All of the restaurants served great food and were very accommodating when any special requests - we particularly enjoyed the curry night at the Asian restaurant. The floating restaurant and bar served amazing food and you saw the most amazing sunsets. We also enjoyed the Gin & Tonic trolley a great idea. I enjoyed the golf which was all included in the price both courses were great to play and easily accessible by the hotel shuttle. Spa services were excellent and so were the various exercise classes and tennis. Everything about the place is special but the staff make the hotel what it is - everyone we interacted with was professional, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely return next year and look forward to it.

In short - a fantastic stay

It is hard to put into words how wonderful our stay was. The all inclusive package was magnificent and our room excellent. The guest services manager very kindly allowed us to change rooms to face the lagoon. Next time (and I hope that there is a next time) we will book a room on stilts. Every member of staff was both engaging and polite. You could certainly teach UK hospitality a thing of two about communication skills! There were many highlights but to mention just one or two: - The Barachois. One of us did a cookery course and had the good fortune to be shown two curries by chef Guiliano. He was engaging, pleasant and clearly very able. Our future visits to the Barachois featured fantastic curries which were cooked specially. Along with the ambience, the shark and the magnificent service provided by the other Barachois staff this was one of the highlights - The Golf. We don’t take golf too seriously but love playing in Mauritius.. We remember one or two of the staff from a trip to a sister hotel in 1996. The courses are pristine and the staff unbelievably polite and friendly - The people. As stated above every member of staff was special. Inevitably though one or two deserve special mention since we were able to get to know them a little better. Youdish and Divya on guest relations, Pirya (hopefully spelt correctly) on reception and Soonam in the Archipal. The beach attendants were engaging and the delightful lady ? supervisor ? Guest relations (evenings) in the Archipal amused us considerably. The manager, waiters and sommelier in the Barachois were superb.
