Super 8 Flagstaff

I was a little nervous staying in a motel for the first time but I felt like it was in a good area where my friends and I felt safe. Clean and good quality room. Breakfast was good and wifi worked well

We booked a hotel specifically with a continental breakfast so we could grab something hearty and quick before heading out the the Grand Canyon. On the website for this exact hotel they have a picture of a glorious looking cereal bowl under the amenities. We check in and I see the area where they will serve the breakfast the next morning. There is a juice machine, coffee, a machine for milk, a waffle maker, and a sign that indicates that this is where breakfast will be served! No mention about anything being changed when we check in. To be honest the bar for how good this breakfast was going to be was already pretty low but we at least expected muffins, cereal(as pictured), and maybe even waffles because of the machine we saw! My partner and I bought almond milk the night before in anticipation of using it in our cereal the next morning. We set an alarm for early so we can run down and grab something to eat. When we get down there everyone looks disappointed, we discover that all we have to choose from is coffee or juice. I’m like, how annoying we must have missed breakfast we will have to wake up earlier tomorrow. I asked the woman behind the counter if we missed breakfast and she said “no Wyndham isn’t doing breakfast anymore”!!!! And after my obvious disappointment she whispers to me “if you want a breakfast bag I can get you one”. I’m okay maybe this will make up for it. One Quaker oat bar, the small one, and a juice cup. This is less food than I pass out to the homeless people in my town in little baggies! (I actually do this btw) We booked this hotel intentionally because there was breakfast!! We even bought our own milk!! Now I know I get what I pay for, this is not a nice hotel and we didn’t pay the money for a nice hotel. But while I am here writing a review... the bed was uncomfortable, and the walls were paper thin. Back to Air bnb for our next trip I guess.

Walls were paper thin. I could hear noises in the bathroom next door. in the middle of the night. Hallway noise was terrible It sounded like people were right in our room. Multiple trains went by all through the night.

This was the most disgusting motel I have ever partially stayed in. I was traveling with family during a move and there were not many options so we chose this place. Upon entering the room we noticed it had not been thoroughly cleaned. We found a used t-shirt on the floor and a mass of hair in the bathtub that was not ours. Being that this was during covid we were extremely concerned so we called the manager to complain. He refused to help us with the situation even though we could prove how disgusting the room was just by looking at it. He didn't like that we complained and kicked is out after keeping our payment. Apparently this is legal in Arizona. He was so verbally abusive that we had to call the police. So let this be a warning folks, spend your money elsewhere. Management is underhanded and dishonest and a few dollars more elsewhere will probably save you from taking home unwanted vermin due to the lack of cleanliness of this place. I still have the pictures of how gross it was as a reminder to never settle for less.

Spent one night. The building looks dated, but the room had been renovated and looked clean and modern. Comfortable bed and pillows. Amenities included coffee maker, microwave and fridge. Plenty of convenient power jacks. Reasonable size bathroom, shower with good water pressure. Standard toiletries, plenty of towels. Breakfast box included (snacks only). The location is reasonably quiet. I asked to change room in the early evening due to noisy neighbors and the staff was very accommodating. The second room was much quieter. Average wifi. Convenient parking.
