Dirty linens, used/open/old shampoo and lotion

Aside from the poorly maintained and suspiciously unclean room, the bath mat had shoe foot prints on it like it wasn’t washed, and the two shampoo bottles and lotion had been opened and used; the paper liner in the cap of the shampoo bottles was stuck to the bottle opening. Don’t stay here. Not impressed. Way too expensive for the quality.

One star is too many. They switched my room with another, when I got back they had thrown out most of my personal things. They blamed it on Hotel.com. They said they had put me 2 days in one room and 2 in different room. Hotel.com said no they didn't ,but they had the right to put me in a different equal room but should have informed me and not thrown my property away. They take no responsibility , either party (Hotel.com or Blue Mist) . Lady manager could not have been more rude , the man did a little and said he would replace my hairbrush (WHAT?). He didn't even do that!
No frills but decent

If you are looking for a place to stay where the staff coddles you, go somewhere else. But the is not a negative. This is family run and the family is nice. They don't fawn all over you but they aren't rude and if you need something they are there to get it for you: towels, soaps, shampoos, etc. And no, the soaps and shampoos are not Pantine and high dollar hand soap, if you want frills and fawning go pay twice as much at the Holiday Inn. This is convenient to the town, it is kitchy, it is inexpensive. It is clean as well. When there are hotels that are similar and they are filthy out there, this is one that breaks the norm and is a very pleasant experience. I visited family in Florence and I used to stay in Phoenix and drive to see them, but now I will always stay here and I am one of those people who check for bugs and dirt in the bathroom, and this place passed my tests.
Clean and Fine

We had an interesting time at the motel when we first arrived - the room hadn't been completely finished being cleaned. We were a late arrival near midnight and front desk was helpful and got us another room immediately (although it wasn't the room type we reserved) which was, honestly, fine. The room was clean which is the most important thing to me, and the shower was hot and beds were fine. All in all, I would stay here again and the three stars is maybe 4 for a motel for the cleanliness and helpfulness of the front desk. I also liked that it is close to town and the breakfast cafe which was good. I think I booked thru trip adviser and there were great deals also.
Clean, serviceable no frills

Located across the street from the prison this is a motel where you park in front of your room door. Front desk demands payment in full before dispatching key to room. Room had clean bathroom and sheets. Decor from 1950s. WiFi available but plugs for electronics not close to bed. Room had 2 person table, microwave, under counter fridge.
