If you arrive at the hotel by car, be careful! The garage is in an restricted zone, so your stay needs to be reported to the police. The staff demands additional money for this. If you do not agree (as I did) you will be fined. In addition, the hotel refused to give me confirmation that I stayed with them. A strange way to make money.
Near the station and that’s about it

A dated property , which although clean is mediocre in most respects. Getting a cup of coffee at breakfast is a gamble, the rooms are down rambling corridors and I did wonder what I would do should there be a fire. Rooms were clean but dated. Breakfast had tinned fruit...do I need to say more? The location is however very convenient both for the tram to the airport and the railway station.. mind you in Florence one spends very little time in the hotel room so this hotel may suit some.
Enjoyed our stay

We stayed for 3 nights. The staff were helpful and polite, room was clean and comfortable, the hotel is very centrally located and easy to walk to all the attractions. The bed was comfortable however the pillows are a bit flat, maybe could ask for an extra pillow! The breakfast was adequate but not great, enough to get us started for the day though. For what we paid, we are really happy with the hotel.
My poorest accomodation experience in Italy

Where do I start? Upon arrival, I had no towels in my rooms. Had to ask for it twice, was dismissed by the 2nd individual because it was ‘too late for service’ and had to find a cupboard some out myself The bed was umcomfortable. I was bitten by bugs, not sure if they were mozzies or bed bugs. The noise insulation was terrible, I could hear the entire conversations of my neighbours. Breakfast is very average. The saving grace of the place was good brewed coffee. However, I had to wait for 45mins on one day and was almost late for my tour. Overall, less than pleasant attitude by the staff. I constantly made to feel like I was causing an inconvience whenever I had to ask for milk for my coffee or asked the receptionist to about where to explore or confirmed my booked tours for me. Upon check out, I was told that they only accepted cash for tourist tax even though they had facilities for credit cards. It would have been nice if I was informed about that anytime in my 3 days stay there. And I was charged an extra 1 euro for paying with credit card which is not standard practice. This dishonesty is disappointing. It’s a shame because my experience in Florence has been tinted by the experiences at the hotel and I would have definitely had a more pleasant time elsewhere. In conclusion, I would definitely be choosing another hotel in future.

The hotel was close to the train station which was convenient however we didn’t enjoy much else about our stay. The hotel was very dated and our room smelled of block drains. The bathroom door needed pulling closed every time and it’s likely the room next door heard. The toilet had a weird flush. Both of us had to turn the shower off mid-shower in order to let the water in the tray drain away. Breakfast was basic. Wouldn’t recommend.
