Excellent place to stay! Great rates. Clean room. Quiet area. Loved it!

Reviewed 11 july, 2019

I would highly recommend this hotel. The room was super clean. It did have a smell of old wood smoke, but was not cigarette smoke. I always carry room freshener with us when we travel and it went away quickly. The bed was comfy. The pillows were harder then what we like, but not bad. Towels were super soft and great water pressure! Hot water was hot! The only thing I can warn about is the floor is slick when getting out of the shower, but that was the only complaint. Had a little fridge and microwave. One cup coffee maker. Parking for the room was right in front of the room and was super quiet at night. Kind of off the beaten path, but that is fine with us! Less noise! Large open space to move around in. I would highly recommend this hotel for the price and the cleanliness! Thank you for a great stay!

Overnight stop over

Reviewed 25 february, 2019

Ok , the first thing I must admit is that upon first sight, I was concerned about the area. There are businesses and a closed up shoneys restaurant nearby. there are several other hotels in the area and all parking areas are behind gates . Nothing happened but I just thought I’d mention it. As for our room, I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised! There has obviously been a recent remodel as evidenced by the fresh paint, updated color scheme, new carpet and a/c unit. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom fresh and clean. I would stay again.

A Pet Friendly Hotel that Doesn't Accept Pets?

Reviewed 14 may, 2018

I booked this room through Choice Hotels and was guaranteed a 'pet-friendly' hotel. When I arrived the desk clerk kept asking me for some type of card I never heard of. After the fourth time of being asked, another guest informed the clerk that I was not in his group. When the clerk saw my dog (a dachshund) he was quick to let me know that they did not allow pets. I had to explain that the room was booked prior to arrival as a pet-friendly hotel and through whom I booked the room. The clerk then explained their pet policy. Upon departure, I asked for a receipt and was told that it would be sent after the room was inspected for pet damage. As I was in a hurry I agreed and left. I received my receipt with no additional charges via e-mail. The room itself was clean and comfortable however there was no desk chair. All in all, not a bad stay and would recomend it to someone who was traveling with a small pet (under 20 lbs.) but to make sure that the room is guaranteed as pet-friendly

Staff are hostile in the office

Reviewed 17 june, 2016

The Staff are hostile and lie to you when you confront them about double charging your credit card. They don't give you the rate they quote you and they won't give out the owners name when you have an issue. They are hateful and aggressive with their customers. Very BAD situation to be in... Don't Stay Here unless you don't mind paying more than quoted or being charged double on your card, and then waiting to get a refund. The cleaning service people were wonderful to deal with. The Manager Kenneth is very hostile and hateful and he lies.
