Service was great
The staff and proprietor were friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean and much quieter than we expected. King room with in room hot tub and fireplace. Nice perk is a round of free mini gold with your stay! Restaurants nearby are limited.
Just a quick overnight stay
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of towels and toilet paper(BIG DEAL!) for a party of 3 adults and 1 kid. Beds were comfortable and clean. Pillows were soft. All in all a great place to stay. Serious pros: Comfy bed, spacious room, fans in the room as well as ac, easy outlet access, regular room had plenty of wheelchair mobility space. Cons: Nothing super notable. The upstairs tenant was a little heavy footed, and they slammed doors, but that has more to do with curtesy than the hotel.
Not a positive experience during Covid-19
The hotel looks nice and the room was clean. However, due to what they said were Covid restrictions, there was no microwave in the room (so my son was unable to have his dinner the first night), and there was no breakfast offered, not even a to-go package. Our room did not have any coffee, although there was a coffee maker, which made it difficult to get started in the mornings. The room was smaller than other hotels in its class, and we were surrounded on one side by loud families with crying children, and on the other side by the strong smell of weed being smoked by our neighbor. The room was pet-friendly, but there were no grassy areas for pets. For the full price that was charged, it was not worth staying here in terms of what we got in return.
Only place with a vacancy
We got the last room in the area. Check-in is through a small window like a take out window. Due to covid, once you check in, no one comes into your room until you leave and there is a 2 night minimum. We checked in and realized they hadn't given us towels so we had to ask. You are asked to take out your own trash. The ADA room was tight but we made the best of it, only being there to sleep. There are so many beautiful sights in the area, we were constantly out. Beds were comfy.
Great hotel
Love this hotel! Very quiet and the room was very nice. The bed was extra comfy. Very friendly staff and the mini golf was fun too! We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit beautiful Fort Bragg and the Mendocino coast!!!
