So nice, we stayed here twice!

We were in Fort Wayne twice in July for basketball tournaments. We had such a nice stay the first week, we chose this property the folowing week. The hotel is clean with a great location. The breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfasts, Shout out to Teri, in the breakfast area, who works so hard and is very pleasant, along with Darryl, who is very helpful too! Actually, the staff is all great.. Shout out to Alora, Alexys and Marissa too. Hope to return next summer.
Great Stay, great value. Friendly staff.

Hotel was great. Newer property. Every employee from the housekeeper I saw in the hall, to the front desk agent (both morning and evening) to the maintenance person I walked past on my way out all said hi, wished me a good day and was cheerful and seemed to be happy to be there. Everything was clean. Will definitely stay at this location again.
If I had to be critical of something, it’s a bit tough to figure out how to get to it, no sign that I saw at the road.

So let’s start with the good. This hotel is in a great location, lots of food options, easy on/off from I69. Short drive to downtown.
Rooms well appointed and seem to be quite clean.
COVId cleanliness and mandates on par with other Marriott properties.
Only negative I have is, as a titanium elite member I am guaranteed a 4pm late check out (other than resorts and convention centers). I requested only until 2:30. At around 1pm I received a phone call to my room asking when I would be leaving. I obliged the question with a friendly response. Then at 2:00 pm housekeeping started banging on my door. As a business traveler my need for the room typically means I am doing business via phone or email, while waiting til closer to my flight etc. as a high level rewards member it clearly means I choose your brand over most or all others so in my opinion asking when I’m leaving should occur when i am much closer to my guaranteed 4pm Mark not 3 hours before. I shouldn’t feel rushed or seemingly viewed as an inconvenience.
Other than that I would still recommend this hotel. Mostly Friendly staff and great location.

Overall the room was good, the staff at the desk was very nice but was disappointed to find a very dirty, moldy shower curtain in the room once I got into the shower the next morning ... was so bad I had to cut my shower short and leave. Obviously had not been checked in some time.
First trip since COVID and was not impressed. When I checked out there was nobody on the desk, so I took the business card of the hotel manager and sent an email. No response for over a week, finally just sent something to Marriott's customer service.
Great place at a fantastic rate!

I stayed here for business. It was conveniently located to my prospective client, the airport and the only legit restaurant in town. definitely will come back and stay here. New-ish building & rooms. All the amenities that you would expect and the rooms are surprisingly large.
