Great place to stay! The room was clean, convenient and quiet. Just off the main road this Affordable Suites location is worth every penny! The staff are very friendly people and always greeted me with a smile.
Enjoyed My Stay
I enjoyed my stay, and I'll definitely book again if I'm in the area. Everything was very clean and comfortable. It was far enough off the road that it was quiet, but close enough to stores to purchase supplies for my stay.
Good Place for Extended Stay
I stayed at Affordable Suites for six weeks. The suite setup was perfect because it included a small kitchen with a microwave, oven/stove top, full size fridge, and some dishes as well. The room even came with a laundry basket which saved me from having to buy one in order to wash my clothes every week. The staff are very friendly people and always greeted me with a smile. The only negative comment I can make about Affordable Suites is that the internet was a little spotty. Affordable Suites would be a great place to stay even if it's not for a long period of time. You definitely get a lot more space than some hotel rooms for the same price. The suite rooms feel more like apartments than a hotel room. And that made my stay a lot more comfortable and relaxing.
The name says it all: "Affordable" "Suites"
It might not look like much from outside, but the rooms are renovated and it's like a small one-bedroom apartment for only $99 per night. You get a full kitchen with full-size refrigerator, oven, and microwave ... though no dishwasher.

If we would have known how very comfortable and quiet this location was we would have changed our vacation plans by an extra three days or so. The next time we go to the Fredricksburg area we will stay for the entire week. The whole place was very well kept and clean. The on site manager made you feel very welcome. In fact every one of the staff members projected that welcome to our place feeling. We travel four to six weeks a year and we both agree these accomations rated in the top 5%.Very impressed!
