Visited with a friend while we explored Fredericksburg. Attentive service. Valet parking worked fine. Outstanding location within walking distance to anything within Old Town and the riverfront. And a reasonable walk away from the Civil War visitors center. Lots of nearby restaurants.
Best Place to Stay in Fredericksburg

Fredericksburg is one of the nicest towns in Virginia and a great place to walk around, both for the Civil War battles that took place here and to see the Georgian brick architecture that is the trademark of the place While other hotels are on the outskirts, the Marriott Courtyard is right in the middle of the Historic District and blends right in. There are tons of interesting shops, restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. While there is no onsite parking the valet parking fee is very reasonable or you can park on the street. The rooms are the usual Courtyard size with fridge and several subscription services like Netflix available on the TV. The in house restaurant is fine for breakfast or a quick bite. All round, a very pleasant stay in Fredericksburg.

Wow, what a treat to be greeted with such warmth and by name with an easy seamless check in. Rooms are immaculate, layout is comfortable with updated decor and all the conveniences you expect at a Marriott property. CENTER OF IT ALL...we walked the quaint historic district, enjoyed numerous restaurant offerings, fabulous boutique shopping district and right by the river. Will definitely stay here again!

We were thrilled to find a Marriott hotel in the heart of a historic district. Wonderful shops, great restaurants, and loads of history all within a comfortable walk. I have no complaints with the hotel, only the loud noise coming from the street until very late into the night.
Great one night stay

Came into town for a wedding. Only stayed one night but totally enjoyed ourselves. Don’t worry about not having a coffee pot in your room…just go to the Italian station (enter from the hotel) and get one of their amazing coffees…and pastry if you desire. We had a room on the 4th floor looking at Caroline street. There is a band that played until 10 but we were walking around so it didn’t bother us. Didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel as I wanted to try the local fare. Tons of shops and restaurants of all kinds. Room was good just no fan in the bathroom and the mirror fogs when you shower. We paid the $12 for valet parking as we came into town late and all the on street parking was taken. We did have 2 paper cups in the room so they may have addressed others concerns. I would definitely stay here again.
