While the hotel is under renovation nothing was done to make up for it. No recognition or upgrade as a Diamond member. Shower door stuck and had a sharp edge. Loud music from lobby at 1:30am. Room clearly needs renovation and they are doing so but it would have been nice to provide some amenities like cookies etc.

My in-laws stayed at this Hampton Inn for 3 nights. They asked for their room to be cleaned and fresh linens provided. That never happened. Several times the toilet would not flush and they had to call the front desk to come up and plunge it. It was explained away as a problem due to the remodel happening. I understand that but for the rate they were charged these issues are unacceptable. They paid $726.29 for a substandard room and substandard service. They have stayed at this property in the past while visiting us and never had this type of issue before. Next time they are in town I will look for a different hotel for them to stay in. It was very disappointing, especially for the rate they were charged. The front desk was unwilling to provide them with a discount in the room rate due to the issues we experienced.

Great hotel experience! Well managed hotel! This hotel is clean, quiet, and has a friendly, and helpful staff and it’s near everything. This is the best choice for a good night’s sleep in a clean comfortable bed. They also have a free breakfast and they do not skimp on choices. This will be our go to hotel on our trips to the Northern VA and DC area. We’re so glad we chose to stay here!

We always stay at Hilton’s hotels, which include many Hampton Inn & Suites. This one was exceptional. It just felt clean as we entered, and upon my usual inspection it certainly was! I thought it might be new, but when complementing the staff, I learned it was well over ten years old. There was not a speck of dust anywhere, many times the bottom shelves under bedside tables and under the sinks are dusty. The other thing I noticed right away was how clean the floors were, especially in the bathroom. Kudos to the head of housekeeping who has trained her/his staff well! And thank you to the whole staff for a pleasant night’s stay.

Check-in was easy with a very efficient and personable desk clerk - Miguel. Our room was very clean with a comfortable bed and great pillows. The bathroom was large, and we had plenty of towels. Nice shower. This was a king room with a small refrigerator, desk & chair and a separate comfortable chair. There was an old style hotel coffeepot but no microwave. We were on the 5th floor next to the elevator but that was not an issue. There was road noise from I95 - but that's what makes the hotel convenient when you travel - proximity to the highway! Gloves were provided at the buffet as an added precaution. There was a nice selection including nice fresh fruit. Special thanks to Matt for his consideration over the very noisy children in the room next door.
