A delightful stay.

Nice big rooms, super friendly front desk, two blocks from everything....but best of all buy the breakfast when you book the room . I have not had a breakfast this good in years at a hotel or even breakfast restaurants. Really enjoyed our short stay. Ample parking too!

Wonderful experience and service!

We had a terrific two-room, two night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, Freeport this week. First, the hotel is in a fantastic location, walking distance to everything Freeport has to offer. Additionally, Freeport itself is a great base for seeing southern Maine. The hotel is very modern, clean, bright, airy, and spacious. Both indoors and out, it was beautifully decorated and luxurious. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, with great beds. We paid for the bed-and-breakfast package and felt like we got a very solid deal - the cooked breakfast was delicious. Sammie (a server at breakfast) was working the shift by herself and was doing an incredible job keeping everyone happy - what a hard worker while keeping a warm smile on her face! The service at the desk was helpful, friendly, and personal. As we were leaving one morning, Lisa asked us what we had planned for the day. I mentioned that we were going to explore a certain area and she recommended an outing that the locals enjoy - traveling to the very tip of Bailey Island. This wasn't even on my radar but we thought, why not? So we went to Bailey Island and ended up staying the entire day! We loved it! Truly a highlight of our trip. We appreciate that type of personal attention and care from a hotel professional. Big thumbs up for Lisa! Know that there is a train track at the back of the hotel so we requested rooms at the front. We didn't hear the train a single time during our stay so we're not even sure it's in use. All in all, this was a terrific stay and we can't wait to return. We'll definitely stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Freeport again when we return to Maine.

A solid choice for staying in Freeport

We stayed 2 nights on our way up to Acadia. Great location for Freeport, located close enough to walk to anywhere in town, with a large parking lot across the street from the Hotel. The bed quality, cleanliness of room and front desk customer service were all excellent and up to Hilton Brand levels. The "rain fall" shower head in the bathroom (we were in a Deluxe Suite, not sure if all rooms have them) was a little underwhelming in terms of water volume but nothing to take points away from them for. I believe the website said the pool was "heated" which it decided was not, although there was also a Hot Tub with the Indoor Pool, which provided a nice soak after walking all day. The place is decidedly affordable, even the upgraded suite was under $200 a night including all fees and taxes.

Very spacious suite

We booked a 1 King Bed 1 Bedroom Premium Suite at the Hilton Garden Inn Freeport Downtown. It was nice & clean & sooo spacious! It had a big bedroom with a comfortable bed, a den, kitchen area & a huge bathroom. There were 3 big screen TV’s, one was even in the bathroom! The only negative was the shower head is mounted on the ceiling & had very little water pressure. The staff were very friendly & the hotel is in a great location to be able to walk to nearby restaurants & shopping.

Convenient location

Clean and serviceable. A very convenient location. Large clean room. The train was a little noisy in the middle of the night! I was happy to be able to walk to LL Bean and to restaurants from the hotel. I will stay there again next time I am in Freeport
