Service das not exist in this hotel
Opinión escrita el 13 de octubre de 2014
No service, cold water, no internet, spa was closed, bad cheep breakfast with dirty cafe, very smal room for this price, na visa accepted and along a noisy road. Giving a complain the the owner will end up that they do not care at all. I traveled a lot but this was by far the worst service ever.

Quaint hotel, lovely room but don't expect 5* service

Located just on a main road into town about 1 km from the city center, this place has the feel of a fine bed and breakfast run by your cousin. You know--- you can't complain to your cousin if the breakfast isn't first rate...Imagine a big old armoire, eclectic decorations....maybe a bit of road noise. Right across the street from a spectacular restaurant (Le Bambou). We had to ring to get someone to check us in. And on checkout there was no one to be found. Sure, there was a cell phone and a wallet at the front desk, but no one to be found. Oh well, I don't mind staying with my cousin!

Great place to stay

I was there for 5 weeks and the owners treated me very well. The room was cleaned daily, They did my Kaundry for a very small fee. The Breakfast was OK. I just wished they had a Flat screen TV in the rooms and more cable channels

Lovely retreat, almost a B&B

We stayed here for just 1 night on our way from Hungary to the motorcycle races at Sachsenring. The Auberge was very much like a B&B - we had to ring to be let in, and call to let them know when we'd be arriving. We checked in quietly and then went out to the town square to find something to eat (around 7 pm). While the town square was pretty extensive, it was desolate (on a Saturday evening) and we had a hard time finding somewhere to eat. Apparently this is par for the course for East Germany, but this was still strange. 2 beds, very comfortable. Bath only; no shower, but a shower head, which made for a messy shower. We should have gotten the wireless key information right away, but were stuck without it overnight because they forgot to put it in the room. I had to wait until DELICIOUS breakfast. DELICIOUS!, when I got the wireless password. The woman working let us leave our luggage while we went to the races, which was great.

Fantastic little inn

We were attending a conference in this small town in eastern Germany and were looking for a place within easy walking distance of the town and university that was something a little different than typical conference hotels (plus the reviews on TripAdvisor for the conference hotels were less than perfect). We took a chance on Auberge Mistral based on some quick reviews on Booking.com. We were not disappointed. The place is BEAUTIFUL - the rooms are unique with antique furnishings. I felt like I was sleeping in a museum -and I mean that in a good way! Although they were quaint and beautiful, the rooms were also comfortable and well appointed with modern bathrooms (and great shower), tv, phone, etc. The breakfast was also very good and the restaurant behind the hotel (same owners) called Le Bambou is not to be missed. The food was incredible (especially if you need a break from typical German food) and the sommelier picked some great wines for us. The only issue that I think some folks might have with this hotel - although it didn't bother us - is that there is not a 24 hour presence at the front desk. Your room key also works on the outside door and we never saw staff after the afternoon. However, you can ask the staff at the restaurant to call the owner if you need something. I would definitely return to this place. An unexpected slice of heaven in a small town in eastern Germany!
