My stay at the Hampton Inn in Fresno was just a touch shy of excellent. To be fair, it's rated as a 3 star hotel, so the experience was about what I'd expect from that rating. My friend and I stayed in a double queen, 2nd floor. The desk host was very friendly and courteous. The room was clean (except for a stray lip gloss in the bathroom), beds were comfortable with 4 pillows each bed, ample charging station between the beds, and surprisingly quiet considering the hotel's proximity to the freeway. The bathroom was stocked well with towels. Only 1 extra roll of TP, though. I felt the room layout was very efficient, and we could even open the window (which is rare in a high-rise). In the morning, there were breakfast bags available in the lobby, which included an apple, granola/fig bar, water w/ flavor packet, and a muffin. To be honest, I didn't have any major complaints with the Hampton Inn, except for the mini-fridge. It was NOT cold. It was plugged in, but not operating at the proper temperature. My friend and I threw out leftover food because the fridge wasn't cold enough. I trust that's an easy fix. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay with no major issues.
Nice property
My daughter and I stayed at this hotel which was our halfway point on a long road trip. I really enjoy Hampton Inn. They do not skimp and offer nice accommodations with plenty of amenities. The internet is works great at this hotel as it does at other Hampton Inns we have stayed at. This is important to us as we generally have business work and school work we need to do.
Parking lot not secure
While unpacking my car was gone through by a homeless man. This happened in matter of minutes at 6:40pm while unloading our car. Lot has camera but no security. King size bed was hard and neighbors ubove us were noisy until 3am
Very nice
Rooms are spacious and clean with a microwave and fridge (Always a plus) TV's are a small but plenty of channels. AC is quiet or heating so you can sleep with it on without that dreadful rattle that some make. Breakfast varied. Something for everyone.Location is opposite the Hwy but it is not noisey at all if you face the Hwy. 1 min away is a lovely outside mall with resturants and many stores. Yes I would stay again for sure.
Best HAMPTON around
Excellent service, cleanliness of any HAMPTON I have stayed at. Close to 99 easy to get anywhere. Staff is exceptional. Rooms are well cleaned and restocked daily. Breakfast is good, nice breakfast room. Staff and management obviously take great pride in their work.
