If you want a quiet retreat in the sun this is the place to go. The food is all home cooked with a non repeat selection of various meals over our 17 day stay. The rooms are cleaned every day except Sunday, the staff are so helpful at all times. Clean sheets and towels when you want them. There is live music 3 or 4 times a week . The large pool is cleaned every day. When you get out of the airport get a no 3 bus for 2.45 euros to the apartments. Toaster, microwave coffee machine all in clouded with fridge and cooker.Second visit and just as good. You can book the Hotel direct after sorting out your flights first.

Just wanted a cheap week in the sun, it’s true it is pretty isolated... and about a 30 minute nice walk to caleta fuste beach. I didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on that. Didn’t spend anytime around pool either to be honest put off by the drunk locals at the pool bar not that they are any trouble just off putting for me. Staff are ok... receptionists could smile a bit! Apartment dated but clean and nice and quiet at night. In general an ok break in sun. Would I stay here again? Probably not. Oh and it’s true the pizzas are good!

Having read the previous reviews my expectations were not too high. On arrival we were greeted warmly and taken to our room to have a look around before being handed the key (nice touch). The lady asked if we needed anything else a hairdryer perhaps but I had taken my own. We did notice we did not have a microwave ans she said she would sort it but did we need it that evening, We said no and a brand new one was delivered to our room next day. The pool bar food and drinks are very good value as are the pizzas from the pizzeria. The entertainment is the best I have seen in any 4/5 star hotel. The zumba classes and line dancing are popular with locals but that brings in extra people and money for the venue. All 3 of the musical acts we saw were excellent. The surroundings are barren and have suffered with buildings being half finished. One you are through the Reception you could be anywhere and please do not let that put you off,

I've stayed here December/January 2020 Upon arrival the place looks clean and tidy. The room clean but very dated and needs refurbishment,hiding torn furniture under throws is not acceptable and been able to stick your finger through the patio door on the glass side not acceptable. Bar staff have very limited english and are to busy serving the other staff first. Pool bar from 09.30 every morning hotel staff sitting around the bar on one occasion an argument broke out staff had to be restrained,food not very good at the pool bar i fid not try thr restaurant. Location is not very good there is a lot of wasteland around you and there is very little near by. I would not stay here again.More Date of stay: January 2020

First place we found after we took the costal path walk from Caleta. A nice leisurely stroll from the path at the side of the Dog and Duck. All needed was a drink and when we arrived in Antigua we couldn’t find much it was like being in Beirut. We stumbled across the Piramide so we called in for a couple cokes, Nice setting lovely pool area I mean never stayed here but it looks ok. There was a lot of Germans but that can’t be helped, but onwards we went to find booze
