Stayed here last December as my office is just up the road. Stayed here again last night with the female. This is such a nice place and is just of the main road. Massive house with a communal room and a few lovely ensuite rooms. The breakfast is spot on and the toast and butter is delicious. Sue is a real lady and a greta houstess. Even the dog is charming !
Wonderful stay in the Taylard House!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at the Taylard house. The rooms are nice, spacious and very clean. There are plenty of helpful amenities and the hosts are very kind and accommodating. The breakfast is delicious and I would highly recommend!

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst on a course nearby. Lovely welcome on arrival with a tray of tea and biscuits. Lovely fire lit in the guest's living room. Didn't feel like a B+B at all - was much more like staying with a family friend. Quiet, cosy, homely, lovely family home. Very comfy bed (I had the king-size ensuite room) and everything was clean and spotless. Breakfast was excellent - Sue's scrambled eggs are perfect, as too was the porridge. A lovely, quiet, warm and welcoming place to stay. Couldn't recommend it more. Gamlingay is a nice village with lots of amenities (pub doing good fish and chip suppers) Indian takeaway, small supermarket pharmacy, etc. Would be a fantastic quiet retreat if you were visiting Cambridge or surrounding areas. Sue is happy to cook an evening meal for you if you don't want to venture out. Thankyou Sue for your kindness. As a lone female traveller, I was made very welcome. Sue has interesting links to motor-sport - go and see for yourself!

One Night Stay

An excellent one night stay. Sue was very accommodating around a wedding I was attending which I very much appreciated. Taylard house had easy parking, a lovely homely feel, was beautifully quiet and the home cooked breakfast was very impressive indeed.
