After a hideous experience at the Argyll Hotel in Ullapool we checked out and went to the Inch bae lodge- it was a breath of fresh air! Run by a pair of pleasant friendly sisters who have taken it over this year. Lovely room, spacious, airy with nice bathroom, lovely view of a stream at the back. Really good breakfast with good choice of items. Bar food was cheap and cheerful but did the job. Very handy for Lake Maree, Applecross and so on - in fact more convenient for the places to visit than staying in Ullapool. GIVE THIS PLACE A CHANCE.

Worth stopping for

Stopped enroute to Inverness. Having spoken to the lovely lady who looked after us this place in NOW UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. We sat in the large conservatory at the back with beautiful views of the River Black. Our coffees were bang on and the lady chatted with us making us feel so super welcomed. If you’re passing it’s well worth a stop. The place looks like it caters for hotel/campers too

Great brunch

Lovely honest food with ducks wandering around outside. Would definitely visit again. Price was decent and seating outside in the sun in the peaceful garden was the icing on the chicken burger. Excellent.

Great breakfast, lovely lady, very helpful. There were ducks and hens. Nice quirky ambiance. Good location and back garden had a few benches to sit outside. I would fully recommend the all day breakfast. Would be happy to visit again if I’m in the area.

Breakfast !!

We had decided not to breakfast in our chalet before checking out, to save me cleaning up, so we stopped here for brunch. What a nice place! It is a hotel and eatery, and we could have had breakfast rolls with the usual filling, scones of various sorts, or bar meals. We went for the all day breakfast and neither of us could finish. Tea toast and butter, bacon (lots) two sausages, black pudding, white pudding, beans, tomato, hash brown, fried egg. Total cost £15! Lovely clean place, nice staff, good service, Citronella dispenser to keep the midges away
