We have just had a wonderful couple of days at Hotel Les Capucines.
We arrived to a warm friendly welcome. We had just parked the car and the owner of the hotel kindly helped us with our bags to reception.
Check in was painless and very quick, which was great as my 6 year old twin boys were desperate to get into the beautiful pool.
We were shown to our room, which was the 2 bedroom suite. 1 very large twin room with its own TV, then a double bedroom with its own TV.
The interiors have been done beautifully, white wash with pastel colours our room was a lovely green pastel. They have some lovely pieces of furniture chairs, wardrobes etc to finish the room a lovely in keeping of the area style.
The bathroom had a big powerful shower, with lovely fun green patterned tiles. Double sinks. Again lots of hanging space for your damp swimming costume etc! Power sockets for hairdryers/shaving equipment.
The owners of the hotel have thought of everything, lots of plug sockets, lots of cupboard space for clothing and your suitcases. Aircon was powerful and not noisy.
Oh I missed we had a huge terrace, with a table for 4, also a sun-bed.
The pool area is lovely, lots of sun beds, then a lovely hot tub which my boys loved. The garden is manicured and very nice with lots of sun bed areas, surrounded by stunning mature pine. Both ends of the pool-area/garden you have views of the coastline.
Lovely open bar kitchen area serving delicious lunch and breakfast also in the same area.
Truly lovely family run hotel, with lovely helpful staff, and great service! Nothing was too much, I had some express washing as we extended our trip they got this done in less than 6 hours (unheard of in small boutique hotels).
We will be back very soon, and I just wish we had stayed here for our entire St Tropez trip.
This hotel is punching well above it’s 3 star rating, I have stayed in 5 and 4 star hotels in the area which don’t come near to the quality of Hotel Les Capucines!

Extremely friendly, clean and service oriented facility with outdoor pool, jacuzzi and bar / restaurant. Rooms are cottage style and offer separate rooms for the younger generation if needed. More than happy to recommend. Town centre of saint Tropez is a 5 minute short drive and beaches are in close proximity as well.

Les Capucines is a stunningly beautiful, family-run hotel just outside St. Tropez. It's situated on a hilltop overlooking the harbour of St. Tropez. The hotel has a beautiful terrace/deck, pool and hot tub surrounded by excellently-manicured gardens and secluded sun lounger chairs. The reception/concierge is extremely helpful and speaks English very well. All the staff are helpful and freindly. We have stayed here for the last 6 years and always had a good time.We would recommend this hotel to anyone...
A sweet hidden gem in St Tropez

What a memorable summer, such special staying. I have stayed in so many different Hotels in St Tropez including 5* ones, but there was something very special about Les Capucines — it is original, has got character and soul. I have quality time staying there and would stay again. It’s in a great location, not far from old town or Pampelonne beach. Good accommodation, clean and quality staff. I fell in love. I wanted to buy the bed pillows cushions in my bedroom and asked the owners if they could sell me them or let me know where I could buy them. On my check out the two pillows were given to me as a sweet souvenir from a memorable summer holiday. Now they make my bedroom look cool (as per last photo attached) and full of good memories. Human connections, good energies, good people, staying in places that makes you feel real — priceless!

This has been the worst experience I have ever had. My friend and I have arrived at the Hotel at 9 am. We were very tired from traveling and we understood our room wasn't ready which was fine. The owner was at the reception and we asked if we could at list stay by the pool while our room gets ready.
He started shouting at us, saying that we must leave and we can't stay by the pool, we can only come back at 3 pm when our room becomes ready.
We were paying our room 500Euros, and at that moment we tried to book another hotel but unfortunately, there was nothing available and we had stayed.
I wouldn't recommend this Hotel to anyone, extremely bad hospitality.
