Lovely weekend stay in beautiful hotel
Opinión escrita el 19 de Mayo de 2017
We had a great visit here, while going to a wedding in the next town. warm welcome from Didier. Good size room, comfortable bed, beautiful balcony for enjoying the morning Sun. Garden is attractive with pool, table tennis, trampoline, shade and lots of seating. Good breakfast. Didier is fluent in English which helped us! Would definitely come back.

Dinner and breakfast are served at the table in the dining room. There is just one table and one menú for dinner. Guests (of the 5 rooms) and the host are having the dinner together which is actually like having it at home, exchanging points of view in a relaxed atmosphere.
The room was very spacious with an original decoration. The bed extremely comfortable and the bathroom good. Very quiet surroundings.
Unfortunately it was dark when I arrived and as I left, but I guess the house is located in a nice park.
Breakfast was also fine with a wide variety of home made marmelades and other tasty things that give you a good start for the day.
Fantastic four day break

My husband booked us into this lovely hotel for four days as a get-a-way to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. He kept telling me about this hotel as he'd used it when he was in the area on business. I was not disappointed. Didier and Orlane made us feel welcome for the minute we arrived.
We requested dinner on our first night and were not disappointed, the meal was fantastic, but Didier is a chef. He was also the perfect host and dined with us. Orlane was very busy in the kitchen supporting Didier. We also ate dinner on the third night. The weather was great so we were able to sit outside. Just be prepared for the usual French dining, three - three and a half hours and not starting until 8pm.
The room was lovely everything we needed was there. It was nice to not have a tv or radio in the room. There is a tv in the lounge.
The facilities a the hotel are ideal. Boules, badminton, trampolining, cycling and also the heated pool and patio. Inside there is a games room with a pool table and a darts board.
After we'd finished dinner on the third night we sat by the lit pool and watched the bats drinking from the pool!
It was my first time going to the Rhone-Alps area of France, I hope it's not my last. The scenery is spectacular wherever you go.
nothing like it - one of the best

I'm writing this review on my second day of a 10 days stay and I can say WITHOUT A SINGLE LITTLE DOUBT, that this is one of the best place I've ever stay ever.
First, picture your self in the middle of "La Drome" - which is a picturesque area, not the most famous one of France, but quite interesting... Then, the little village of Genissieux is also an adventure by itself- completely off the beaten track, just East of Peyrins and north of Romans-sur-Isère - probably not on the bucket list of most travellers... Believe me, you must change your plan - just at least to taste the warmness and unique experience of Diddier (the owner)....
The house (B&B) is charming, simple and very confortable - the new living room is spacious, you can enjoy a drink before dinner and even read a book, play the piano or else...
Bedrooms are very spacious, super quiet with all the amenities you need.
As for the host and dinner - you just cannot expect anything better than this. Didier and Orlane are just extraordinary people - they can put you at ease the first minute you meet them - and next thing you know, you are treat as a friend... it is just amazing.
Dinner is served in the dinning room on a oversize wooden table - the real French way. Conversations between hosts and other guests are like families - the food is what you dream about - for the first 2 days we had, the "Ravioles" which is the region specialties and Didier made it just perfect; we also had veal with Lentilles DuPuy and of course good wine and unbelievable French fine cheeses...
For breakfast, you have the best Croissant you can imagine with a great selection of homemade jams and great coffee...
The experience is unique as Didier and Orlane make you feel at home every day... I couldn't imagine to stay anywhere else the next time I'm in the region and I will make a 100 miles detour to stay here - it is so unique and great, why bother with those "un-personalized" hotel...
Didier, mon ami, ne change jamais - tu es simplement génial !
Exceeded my expectations.

I went there for a holiday and can't get over the fantastic dinners - French cooking at its finest. My room was very spacious and I will definitely stay here again.
