A hidden gem in Suwanee
I spent the last 9 days at this property which is open only 6 months. I checked in on Dec 19 and was met by Felix who was very helpful and customer oriented. He explained the COVID protocols for the hotel The breakfast buffet is open with hand sanitizer before entering The room is large and more than enough space for 2 people. A suggestion is that glass shelf by the microwave and refrig needs to be higher as its head level and if not paying attention you will hit your head. The closet was on the small side and I had to adjust the hanging bar for it to be effective. The bathroom needs a better night light as the set up in the room I had (218) has the bathroom directly opposite the beds. I had an issue with the microwave and called down to the desk and the MOD, LaTonya Furtick, came to my room with mask on, and assisted. A very customer oriented and very friendly individual. and is a definite asset to the property. If in the area I highly recommend this property
Nice hotel
Stayed here for one night on business. It's a newer hotel with the newer design for a Springhill. The check in was pleasant and the front desk person was very nice. the room was comfortable. The location is near several restaurants and a Target. All a short walk across a busy road or a 1 minute drive. The room seemed clean and the towels were very, VERY fluffy... I hope they stay that way :) I observed people cleaning the several times I was in the lobby area. They stopped the breakfast buffet because of COVID. In it's place you get a grab and go breakfast which consisted of a bottle of water and 2 frozen, silver dollar sized sausage biscuits that you have to heat up in your microwave. I would suggest an option of the biscuits or a piece of fruit or packaged donut to be truly grab and go. Plus, I'd prefer fruit. Overall, it's a nice hotel and I'll be back.
