This place is a hidden gem in the North of Gili Meno. It was such a great place to chill out and relax. The are 2 aircon rooms and 2 rooms with a fan which are setin a cute little garden. The staff are super friendly and make you really feel part of the Meno family. Great.
A Real Find on Meno Island, This is where you want to stay !!!

I had a wonderful one week stay that turned into a two week stay at Ana's Warung Bungalows on Meno Island. The place is located right on the beach and it's a very quite and peaceful. I stayed in a basic but adequate A frame type bungalow with a fan that did the job. Can't complain about insects, at least during my stay in October. II didn't even bother using the mosquito netting. Two really nice housekeepers cleaned the room every day and they took really great care, such as moving all my shoes to one area and putting everything - tooth brushes, paste, razor blades, etc - in proper order in the bathroom. Their attention to detail was extraordinary, house keeping worthy of a five star hotel. And Ana is a great cook and can prepare anything, on or off the menu. There aren't many restaurants on Meno but the food is so good at Ana's that there really no reason to go anywhere else. It's the best place to eat on the island. I was the only guests there due to the pandemic, so the stay was more like a home stay than just being a guest at a resort. When I arrived the co-ower Peter told me that they would take good care of me but I didn't realize he really meant it by that but I soon found out. I spent a day exploring the nearby island Gili Air and somehow I lost my iPhone. When I returned to Ana's on Meno Island I told Ana and Peter how upset I was and Peter posted on a Facebook Group for the Gili Islands , offering a reward to anyone who found the phone. Frankly I didn't expect to ever see the phone again. The next day Peter woke me and told me that a fruit seller on Gili Air island found the phone on the beach mentioned it to a friend, the owner of a small hotel on the island who happened to also be a friend of Peter and Ana (small world on the Gili Islands) and Ana was on her way to Gili Air to pay the man who found the phone his reward and pick up the phone. Mind you I didn't ask them to do this. I was prepared to return to Gili Air to meet up with the man with my phone. They just did it. If you check out the other reviews there are so many reviews that mention an act of kindness, such as the guests who stepped on a sea urchin and got a poisonous spine in their foot or got stung by a jellyfish. This is what truly hospitality is all about. When Peter and Ana say they have your back they really mean it. I am so glad I got to meet them and stay at their resort. You should stay there also. There is no way you are not going to enjoy your stay and be taken care of in a heart felt way. I would give them more that five stars if I could.

Starving after snorkeling, even can not make me feel that the food is really good. Pricey and tasteless. I'm order gado², which is cost me 70k. But it's far from my expectations... I'm a bit disappointed when it's come with nasi (steam rice), but more dissapointed when they just give a a small amount of peanut sauce. It's even not enough to eat it with the vegetables. Then how I'll eat my rice.
Lovely quaint bungalow, lovely food and incredible people

The first thing to note is that the property is a good 15-20 minute walk from the harbour so please just be aware of that. You can obviously use the horse and cart if needs be. On arrival we were met by the lovely receptionist and happened to see Ana's husband Pete, who is an Aussie, walking by. After being warmly greeted we where shown to our room, the simple small Bungalow. The room consisted of a balcony/porch area, a bed with a mosquito net and a small wardrobe. There was also a very clean private bathroom which was outside, with a roof. Much the same as the room actually, which had an open air environment. It did have a fan which kept the room cool enough but if I am in Gili Meno again I would consider the slightly bigger air conditioned rooms. We chucked our things in the room and joined a lot of local kids in the sea, as everywhere in the warmer climate world, please be aware of the odd Sea Urchin...... take that from personal advice, I managed to stand on one and was massively helped out by Pete, who as an Aussie was sympathetic... honest, and the local kids who advised me to use a bit of coral to ease the pain rather than try and remove the spines. A couple of weeks on I would like to extend my greatest thanks to them as it really was a miracle cure, always trust the locals! Similarly my partner had a small reaction to a bug bite on walking around the island the day after and Ana and Pete where great, I honestly could not thank them enough for their hospitality. Breakfast was superb, a choice of fruit juices, pancakes, eggs and local dishes all cooked fresh to order. Dinner was also lovely by the sea front and catching the glimpse of the turtles and local fisher men at different times of the day. We took one of the local boats back to Gili T and couldn't be happier with how friendly the whole island was, a lovely break from the party nights of Gili T. Both to be recommended!
Well worth it

An amazing stay at Ana Warung. My friend and I stayed for 8 nights and were impressed by the friendly staff and service. They always greeted us happily and couldn't do enough for us. The food was good and the complimentary breakfast was delicious and filling. The position on the beach is fantastic..you can walk straight out the front and go snorkelling. Rooms were cleaned daily. Its also in a good spot on the island and easy walking to the harbour and other dining places. Recommend this place.
