Llegamos a este lugar pues según las fotos de Booking se veía muy limpio y acogedor. El suelo estaba sin barrer, los muebles llenos de polvo, el baño sucio, el espejo roto y en lavabo del baño una colilla de cigarro. ¿En serio? Se puede ser pobre pero no tan marrano... No se quién limpia aquí las habitaciones. El personal estaba bastante "dormido" solo pendientes del móvil y no se enteraban de nada, les pedimos unas toallas de piscina y nos dijeron directamente NO, sin explicación alguna, que por otro lado mejor ni bañarse en ella, descuidada. El manager o encargado o lo que fuera bastante "chulito" tocándose el pelo y lo que peor me sentó.. nos dijo que no podíamos dejar el aire acondicionado puesto mientras estábamos fuera, la excusa: que el gobierno no lo permitía por cuestiones medioambientales, hemos estado en 8 hoteles diferentes, más caros y más baratos y no nos había pasado en ninguno. No sé si creían que éramos estúpidos, además nos cambiamos precisamente a OYO por el aire acondicionado, Gili es de las islas más calurosas, era un techo de madera que pegaba el sol horrible y para más inri tuvimos el aire puesto más de 15 minutos y no enfriaba, iba a pedales. Creo que de los peores sitios en los que he estado, no vayáis!

They refused to accept my booking

I made a reservation for this place with Agoda, payed in advanced with my credit card, got the receipt and the booking conservation and when I got there they refused to let me in or give my money back. Instead, they suggested that I stayed at their friends' place and pay them again. I'm only in Gilli Trawangan for 3 days and spent the whole first day arguing with them over the issue and looking for somewhere else to stay. Moreover, the phone number or email address on the booking website are not even correct and so there is no way to ask them for responsibility through your booking site or the police, as there is no police on the island. Do not even think of booking a room at this place unless you like burning up your money. Also do not trust the prices that you see online as a couple of French girls who were there at the same time as me had another reservation and the man there said the price wasn't correct and so he had to charge them double.

Worst hostel in gili

Host are horrible with customer. No service, not welcoming. I had to leave at 8.30 to get diving lessons, I had to wake them up to make me breakfast then they refuse... They put music until 1am with no customer at the bar, just them playing on their phone and taking drugs while listening hardstyle music. One month traveling in Indonesia, worst experience so far!

If you like to be woken up in the middle of the night and then every second hour after that by Muadh (muslim prayer) this is the place for you. The tower were the "song, prayer" comes from is about 10 meters from this hostel. The rooms are quite bad we've got a hole in our ceiling in the bathrom. The chairs outside could break any minute. The pictures does not make it just.

The place is a bit grimey. Definitly has not been dusted in a long while in the rooms. The dust is literally everywhere. The sheets are not clean, filled with sand and stains. There are no lockers and just one key to the 'dormroom'. So you cant lock the place and take the key. Definitly not a place to leave your stuff. The dormroom is a normal sized room with 3 single beds placed in them. The poolfilter is not switched on at any time during my 3 night stay. Don't think its been on in a long time. The pool is so murky i would not dare to get in. There is a complimentary breakfast consist of eggs and sweet bread. But you'll have to find the staff somewhere to cook it for you. As they probably will be sleeping and not really availlible. It is a good distance to the beach and harbor.
