I stayed for two nights having travelled to Glasgow to watch a gig at the nearby Oran Mor venue and the location was the main attraction. However having now stayed here this will be my go to hotel for Glasgow. The location for me is perfect, only a few minutes walk from the underground and if you fancy a walk to the City centre it is only 45 minutes or so. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. Add to that friendly staff and decent prices I cannot fault the Argyll Western. Hight recommended.

Fabulous find in the West End. Booked the Argyll Western as we were heading to Glasglow in the Botanic Gardens, just minutes from the door. Nestled in a row of stunning Victorian townhouses just off of Great Western road, this hotel is an absolute gem of a place. The staff on duty were fabulous, attentive, helpful and polite. We stayed in room 104 Black Watch. The room was cosy and warm with a small but functional en suite shower, and Black Watch tartan accessories within the room. Bed was super comfy. Breakfast was reasonably priced for the options available. The Scottish breakfast was the obvious choice , with porridge on offer as well as cereal, yoghurt and toast.
Perfect hotel for explorers

Stayed in this hotel with 2 friends of mine as we were on a road trip. Hotel has to offer everything you need for a good night sleep while travelling for most part of the day . It’s not expensive and has great rooms. So good value for money ! Beds are comfy , room clean and tidy . Peaceful and quiet area . Perfect location if you end up visiting only city!

Excellent service from friendly staff, good value for the room and great location. We were greeted in the evening by the concierge who was friendly and helpful, he immediately fetched refreshments for us and our daughter and was able to offer advice on where best to eat that evening. He was attentive throughout the duration of our stay, we would happily stay again.
