More about the hotel
Loved our stay here because of the amenities, location and great staff!
We loved staying here with the kitchen and pool/hot tub. Great location- You can walk to tons of stores and to Natural Grocers. The room was perfect for wheelchair accessibility. We loved that they are dog-friendly! Everyone working was very helpful and wonderful! Angel was especially personable and amazing! He worked with us to get a room where we preferred. He was very sweet to our Kids and went above and beyond. Bryce was also awesome with helping us out the day we were checking out! Great customer service! Thank you Angel and Bryce!!
Property is Nice, but Parking is $12 per night.
This is ridiculous. I have stayed at this property numerous times, but all of a sudden, they are charging for parking. Nothing has changed. The parking is a regular lot, the same lot that, until recently, was free parking. Very disappointed, as this property is very convenient to customer sites. The only reason that I am reviewing this as Poor instead of Terrible is because the staff at this property is very nice.
Hidden rip off
Parking fee for “long term parking, complimentary after 6 nights”. WHAT? one night is not long term and it’s a big open lot. No reference in “total fee” on Marriott website when making reservation. And can’t cancel when you arrive and are told the fee. And I couldn’t hear the clerk talking behind a mask. My “Gold status” meant nothing. My allegiance to the entire Marriott brand is much less because of this. And the hotel is next to a mall a heck of a long way from the interstate if you are passing through.
In all the advertisements they say that parking is free: IT IS NOT. !
We stayed two nights. Room was clean.. The room was not serviced the next day which cause it to reuse the towels from the previous night. In all the advertisements they say that parking is free: IT IS NOT. Shocked to see the $12 a day charge for parking. That is a scam. not told about the charge until checking in at the front desk. It's a big open parking lot, nothing special. Not a lot of money but still I think it is a scam and dishonest. There is an elevator in the the main building but not in the wings.
Noisy guests...
The hotel is extremely clean and all protocol regarding COVID has been followed - you wear masks if you are within the common areas in the hotel. Obviously, this rule did not apply on TWO evenings when upon entering the lobby, a bunch of guys were sitting around, no masks, drinking beer with no consideration for those around them. It would appear, although I can't be sure, that some were staying on the 4th floor (where we were, unfortunately) - the noise and inconsiderate banging of the room entry doors was unbelievable. I did NOT complain - if these guests could do what they liked in the lobby, I am sure they felt they could be a disruptive as they wished in their rooms!
