Markham Court

We have stayed here before and loved our stay with our family which was 1.5yrs ago. We had a 2 bed 2 bath apartment (a different one) that was great again and everyone we spoke to pool side said the same. It seems to be that a lot of the holiday let apartments have been renovated since our last visit and the gardens and upkeep of the complex looked beautiful. (Even noticed the spa area had been re done and looks great) Management were great and very friendly. (I think it was Rochelle and Tony) Amazing location to everything, restaurants, Surfclub, Bowls Club, Pacific Fair, Beach (that has a walkway straight up to a flagged patrolled beach just at the end of the complex) Thank you again for your hospitality.

Awful experience. Booked through Airbnb (AirServant - Joshua Cram). Stayed at accommodation with blood on the sheets (only discovered the morning after our first night which means I had the misfortune of sleeping on said sheets), two of the beds were broken, we were repeatedly harrassed by a neighbor who is clearly fed up with Airbnb guests (I can appreciate her pain but we were innocent in the situation. We were there for four nights for a conference, followed house rules to the letter and we should not have been her target. Instead we felt watched the entire stay), ants all through the upstairs bedroom, sliding doors that barely work, the list goes on. I respectfully approached Josh to discuss the long list of issues. Instead of communicating like a professional, Josh decided that the best course of action was to take my feedback and use it to craft an entirely fictitious review about myself and all of the other guests in the room. Yes, you read that correctly, he left reviews in ALL six guests Airbnb profiles. False, fabricated reviews. The lack of professionalism here is something I have never experienced before.

Booked for a 4 night stay on way back to Melbourne from Sunshine Coast. Stayed one night & packed up & left the following day. Don't think we've experienced anything quite like this place before. Strongly suggest you take a look at the rooms before you book (if you can). Dirty, grubby, old & rear view looks like you've stepped into a 3rd world country. The laundry was cut off because we booked a 1 bed/bath appt & laundry was contained in 2nd bathroom with a notice saying we cant use. Ridiculous.

We booked the 3 bedroom apartment and it was more than large enough to accommodate the 6 adults who stayed there for the weekend. The units we clean and in good condition. Staff were more than helpful.

We had asked for a lower floor apartment on asking we were told our agent never requested this - found we were on the top floor with no lift - I have asthma and we had two young children and had to go up 6 flights of stairs - lugging all our luggage and carrying two very tired little boys - then in the apartment my husband and i had another flight of stairs..The stove was dirty and found this aparment really needed a good clean - We made the best of a bad deal - I must say the beds were very good and comfortable - it is in a very handy spot in Broadbeach and can Recommend just down the road Kurrawa Surf Club for a lovely meal and evening -
