Weekend get away

We arrived later in the evening, check in was fast since we booked online, got to room 126 and was like walking into an oven my wife said, room was clean and bed was a rock, definitely on the smaller size of a queen, I would say a full size at most.
Woke up the next day and getting ready to walk out the door when I noticed they have a daily room rate chart on the door.
Inside the plastic sheet for the room rates were dead cockroaches. Really, for $180 I get a small bed hard as a rock, and dead cockroaches.
Nope not ever again will I stay here, my skin is crawling just thinking of that. Even though we see nothing crawling around, it doesn’t take much for housekeeping to clean those as well, kinda makes me wonder what is really clean in this room vs what’s just quickly wiped if anything
Clean but basic

This is a good hotel when traveling. We checked in late and left early as we were trying to get as far on our journey as possible. There were not many extras, but we had a very good nights sleeps on a comfortable bed.
great place to stay

We're trying to split the drive between Crater Lake and Mt Rainier so decided to stay here based on other TA reviews. Very happy with the hotel. We actually stayed twice about a week apart. Ashley at the front desk was awesome! Very pleasant and was kind enough to put us in a suite both nights. breakfast is nothing fancy but it gets the job done. waffles, biscuits and gravy, fruit, etc. Pool is outdoors. I would stay here again. The town is pretty nice too.
Perfect for a nights rest

I stopped here late at night as a last minute booking and was pleasantly surprised. The overnight front desk gal, Elizabeth was super professional and informative. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. In the morning, Jerry had a welcoming breakfast spread of scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, muffins, bagels, donuts, cream cheese, yogurt, apples, oranges, cereal, waffles, and beverages. My only issues were the curtain in our room (219) did not block out the bright morning sun very well and was full of holes, plus the 20 or so channels on the TV were fuzzy. Other than that it was a great stay.
