Magnifico hotel. habitacion muy amplia y limpia. Suelo de moqueta. Alojandote tienes acceso a la piscina y a la sauna. Comimos una noche en el restaurante con muy buana calidad en los platos y buena relación calidad-precio. tambien tiene un gran pub y el servicio de hotel es bueno.

This is a review to hopefully prevent other visitors to bar/restaurant area having to experience the embarrassment we endured. From 11:30am-2:00pm sixteen seats are actually reserved for a company and you MUST NOT sit there. There will be no indication that 16 seats are reserved for a company, you just have to be in the know. We wanted a booth due to the work and colleague meeting we were conducting in the restaurant. This did not impact the 16 seats the reservation needed and left them with a “corner booth”, a solution I had to offer to help resolve the issue. Laura the bar manager was unreasonable, irate and rude, to the point where she found it acceptable to shout loud enough to the kitchen “do you really expect me to serve them now?”. The company that reserves the 16 seats is a high risk GDPR company (Laura revealed this to us with the company name) and you will be told that they’ve made a complaint that you sat in a table next to them. Wonderful to know that because we sat at a table, we’re now the talk of another complaint. I’ve had a follow up call from an email I sent to the bar to highlight that we did get a resolution but they need to be aware of the issues and concerns surround the customer service we had experienced. Laura’s attitude were defended as they’ve had the reservation for a month and the call ended when the finishing sentence was “we’re both busy women, we don’t have time to be doing round in circles”. I didn’t need a resolution as the issue was solved, I didn’t even need a fall up call or email, however seeing there was one, it really needed to just be an acknowledgement of the complaint and they’re reviewing their policy e.g section off the area if that’s what the company has paid for, not a lengthy justification as to why we were spoken to the way we were. I will say that on all of our previous visits, we have been met with wonderful customer service and we had great service on this occasion from the lady who served us breakfast (I didn’t catch her name but she had a dark brown bob haircut), she was chatty, attentive and continued a high level of service even after comments were made. Ryan the manager who took over the situation in the end was polite, listened to our point of view as a customer. This would early be a 4 star review and somewhere we’d continue to conduct business, it’s a shame one person can spoil a teams hard work and efforts to provide excellent customer service. This doesn’t need a follow up comment either, the call was sufficient enough.

We held our first conference of 2023 at The Village, Bury. We received excellent and attentive service as always, especially from Ryan, Will & Claire. They are always happy to help and nothing is too much trouble.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The hotel team are always welcoming and helpful. The rooms are of a good size with all usual facilities within. A good range of services on site from the gym, pool and spa to good food at breakfast and in the restaurant/ bar.

Comfy clean room and the dancing through the decades party was fab too. Check in was quick and easy, tried to get a room with a bath but wasn't available. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would stay again
