A lovely apartment, shame about the noise
The apartment is roomy and well laid out. It is close to Gran Via Colon (from where buses leave for Alhambra and Albayzín), Calle Elvira and various shops and cafes. There's a lift! There are olive oil and salt in the kitchen! Unfortunately we weren't able to sleep until about 1am on the Wednesday and Thursday and 2am on the Friday because there are 3 bars/restaurants surrounding the small square below the apartment windows, all of which fill the square with tables at which increasingly drunk people talk at the tops of their voices, screech with laughter and occasionally sing. Even with all windows tightly closed, the air conditioner on full and earplugs in, we couldn't sleep. And even when the bars close (midnight on Wednesday and Thursday, 1am on Friday) there are sounds of tables and chairs being cleared away and revelers letting the world know how happy they are.
Location
There are a few things that could be better but overall excellent stay. Pros: Very spacious living area, large dining table and charis, equipped kitchen with microwave, sofa, airconditioning in the living room, comfortable bed; close to everything; laundry available at no charge; staff tried their best CONS: We had the worst apartment right above the restaurant although I had asked for one on a higher floor 5 months before. Noisy until at least 2.30am. Bathroom reeked of sewage... common in Granada so use some room refresher! Only 1 bath towel provided (2 mats) and it took numerous messages and nearly 24hrs to get another....not good at all. I was told via message to call a number for anything I needed but no answer. No tea towel to wipe dishes ended up using a hand towel. 1 x 30cm towel rail to hang towels in the bathroom is ridiculous. Need some towel hooks near the shower and a non slip mat in the bath. My husband slipped and fell - very dangerous. Need to address bathroom issues for comfort and safety of the guests. We were happy nevertheless and would return.
Spacious apartment in the close proximity to everything
We got a room at the last third floor. The higher you are - the better view, less noise from two eateries on the ground right in front of the apartments. The bed, the amenities, the kitchen - all nice. Plenty of places to eat great food in immediate proximity. The Catedral de Granada - 200m away, a slick market with exceptional seafood, meats and vegies just a minute away. Less than half an hour to airport by taxi.
Extremely noisy, viewless and dingy
Stayed for 3 nights...nothing like the photos... dingy, tired, nano sized room, bathroom next to the bed... On top of that, it is extremely noisy since it is located in a narrow square full of bars open until very late at night and close to a club full of people smoking and selling drugs outside. The bed was very very hard and the people working there barely spoke anything else but Spanish. To top it all, we found it rather expensive. We won´t definitely be back.
Very convenient, comfortable, great place to stay
The apartment was roomy, modern, perfect location next to mercado, a couple of terrific tapa bars, the cathedral and everything else. There is free laundry service, which is fabulous to have. We spent almost a week and could spend a month easily! Price was unbelievable. The staff works hard and truly makes every effort to be helpful. My only suggestion would be to add the front desk to the outside buzzer, otherwise new arrivals feel somewhat lost.
