Charming chateau with good taste and comfort
We did a lot of research for a chateau with good modern comfort and we were very happy we found Chateau de Rilly! Everything is done with great taste. Rooms are spotless and bed was very comfy. Staff members are super nice and helpful. Fantastic 3 days experience and will happily return!
an absolute treat
From the welcome cup of tea, taking us to our room and showing us where and what everything was to the personal service and wonderful dinner, we had found a haven. what was originally going to be a one night stop over turned into three days of pleasure. the attention to detail, the personal service and the exquisite decor and bedding, it was my best accommodation on this Europe tour (and we had stayed at the London Ritz). The bar downstairs was very relaxing and cosy, the food remarkable (the mushroom consume) out of this world it was affordable compared to some of the hotel chains we had stayed at along out journey only 50 euro more per night we used it as our base and certainly plan to revisit on our next trip this time to explore more local champagne rooms
Exceptional
Delightful hotel. Location was perfect; the whole place was spotlessly clean and every attention to detail is there. The staff are incredibly polite, helpful and friendly. The rooms are beautiful. And the restaurant was magnificent! All in all an amazing place which we'll definitely be returning to
Lovely hotel
Very nice hotel in a delightful village, with lots of champagne houses within walking distance. Room was small but nicely furnished. The in-room continental breakfast at €13 was very good value. Very helpful staff.
An unforgettable venue and luncheon for a special birthday celebration
We were treated to an unforgettable special luncheon at Le Chateau de Rilly for my 60th birthday. It had taken several months to plan and the staff had been a dream to work with. On the day our group of 40 guests arrived at Le Chateau and enjoyed champagnes and canapes on the balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens as the sun shone. We adjourned inside to the dining room and were treated to a sumptuous culinary luncheon - each dish was carefully cooked and presented with delicate flavours. The service was courteous, efficient and unobtrusive. Friends with special diets were all catered for without any fuss. The chefs came out to our applause when they brought out my birthday cake, which was plated up and served as our dessert - absolutely superb. Following lunch we moved back out onto the balcony to enjoy coffees and more drinks as the day drew to a close. How blessed I was to spend my special day with good friends at such a special venue in the Champagne countryside.
