A December treat

Booked in for 1 night on 1st December. Everyone working hard to decorate the Inn for the festive season. Simply beautiful! Our two rooms were spotless, comfortable, spacious and peaceful. An absolute gem of a stay. We couldn't have been made more welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely warmth from the log fires; food just delicious ...I could go on. Can't wait to go again!
Must be a visit

Hotel is situated on a beautiful spot right by the river , gorgeous views and perfect for exploring the area by car, walking or cycling. Rooms spacious , clean and comfortable , food was excellent and staff incredibly helpful - only thing to note is that it is a 15 minute drive from Pitlochry so if you wanted to have a more bustling environment at night then maybe not for you
Beautiful stay over a long weekend

We stayed at the Inn on the Tay for a long weekend. As you arrive, you are greeted by the calming sound of the river. We dinned in the restaurant for our first night, the food was delicious and portion sizes were generous. The rooms are very comfortable and have all you need for a short stay and we found all the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. There is also an excellent bar and decked terrace to enjoy a drink by the river. Despite the remote location if you want to go out for the day, there are loads of things to do within a 15-30 minute drive and numerous towns and villages to explore. We had a very enjoyable stay and can't wait to go back.

Dropped in on Thursday without a lunch booking having had a nice lunch on our last visit. Unfortunately we arrived at 2.20 and lunch finishes at 2.30 whereapon we were shunted out to the wooden bench table and chairs to the side of the dining areas. When i enquired about the empty tables on the sunny veranda and the restaurant i was told they were booked already. This was obviously untrue as after several more attempts requesting a decent table we were given one by server whose over the top attitude hardly disguised her annoyance that we were lunching right on restaurant closing time. The food was good as always, but the serving staff attitude has put us off returning for a while..
