I had originally booked this overnight stay for the following night but having to change my plans I contacted them again and they managed to fit me in without any problem. The room was clean and tidy with an en suit. Tea and coffee making facilities. My room was at the rear and the only problem I had was it`s close to the railway line. As I was tired this did not cause any issues for me.A short walk brings you to many shops and places to eat and not to far from the town centre itself.

I put excellent because there was actually nothing to fault this Guest House. It is very old seventies style furniture but the room was comfortable and I had a good night sleep. The room had a fridge and microwave with coffee/tea facilities. Exceptionally clean and the guy at reception, Sacha, carried my case for me. He very kindly upgraded my room (I had booked a single room which was on the 3rd floor - no lift) and would have been difficult to carry my stuff. In summary - yes a bit tired, not elegant, bit ruff area, but no qualms about my stay!

One sleepless night in a stinking bed itching away to the comforting soundtrack of passing trains. Was meant to stay 4 nights but left early. Avoid it is totally gross no redeeming characteristic s at all. Stay at premier inn for £16 more
EXCELLENT VALUE FOR TRADESMEN

Not the Ritz , you get what you pay for. When I work in London I often stay here. I will stay between here and Lolas Guest House in Orpington. I normally spend 1 - 2 nights per week here. There is parking on a first come first served basis, but plenty of parking a few minutes walk away. The manager is a great guy. I have Probably spent at least 40 to 50 nights here in the last few years. You do get some undesirable folk occasionally. I have never had a bad night. A budget accommodation but excellent value for the money. Not somewhere to take the wife unless you fancy a divorce. Great value for the guy working away from home. Clean room. Fridge, kettle and a telly. Plenty. I keep .returning.. Book in advance it soon fills

I went to Gravesend on a nostalgic trip. When I got to the hotel I booked in and paid for four nights. I was given a towel and directed to my room. The room was big enough with a T V a bedside table, wardrobe, chest of draws and a fridge. The bathroom had a shower, toilet and small wash basin (no plug) with liquid soap. There was tea and coffee making facilities on top of the fridge as well as a micro. A cup, bowl and cutlery were also supplied. there was an incredible draught cumming from the window and the seal on the double glazed unit had gone so there was condensation between the panes. The four nights I was there the room never got serviced once and no change of towel. I was on the top floor and the staircase was a bit narrow. I was at the back and the mainline railway was close to the hotel. I could hear the passenger and freight trains going passed but it was not disturbing. I have no complaints this is just an account of my stay at the hotel.
