Excellent accommodation provided at the right price

If you are looking for great value for money guest accommodation in North Kent, then look no further than the Shamrock Guest House in Gravesend. The collection of converted terrace houses presents rooms which are functional if not luxurious, my room had a very comfortable bed with a good duvet and pillows together with a flat-screen television and excellent speedy Wi-Fi also located in the room was a microwave and refrigerator. For me, it would have been nice to have a chair to it in, my only disappointment with the room, as for the bathroom it was excellent, spotlessly clean with an amazing powerful shower. Located to the east of the town centre, which is within easy walking distance, the train station is also only a fifteen-minute walk away. Excellent accommodation provided at the right price, I highly recommend the Shamrock in Gravesend

OK place for short stay
Opinión escrita el 13 de abril de 2022
Need a cheap place to sleep and refresh a bit? Then this is an OK place, close to major highway connections like the Dartford Crossing, no breakfast, no restaurant, free wifi, clean, tea and coffee in room and nice touch is that the rooms have their own fridge and microwave. Free parking next to building but not guarded and irregular.

I had originally booked this overnight stay for the following night but having to change my plans I contacted them again and they managed to fit me in without any problem. The room was clean and tidy with an en suit. Tea and coffee making facilities. My room was at the rear and the only problem I had was it`s close to the railway line. As I was tired this did not cause any issues for me.A short walk brings you to many shops and places to eat and not to far from the town centre itself.

No frills Guest House

I put excellent because there was actually nothing to fault this Guest House. It is very old seventies style furniture but the room was comfortable and I had a good night sleep. The room had a fridge and microwave with coffee/tea facilities. Exceptionally clean and the guy at reception, Sacha, carried my case for me. He very kindly upgraded my room (I had booked a single room which was on the 3rd floor - no lift) and would have been difficult to carry my stuff. In summary - yes a bit tired, not elegant, bit ruff area, but no qualms about my stay!

One sleepless night in a stinking bed itching away to the comforting soundtrack of passing trains. Was meant to stay 4 nights but left early. Avoid it is totally gross no redeeming characteristic s at all. Stay at premier inn for £16 more
