Sofitel London Heathrow

We stayed at the Sofitel at the end of January prior to an international flight. We used the ‘rest and test’ offer. The hotel staff was excellent throughout the booking process and during our stay. We were upgraded and allowed to check in early and Debbie, David and Plamen couldn’t have been more helpful in guiding us through the COVID testing process and obtaining the QR code for our flight. Being so convenient for Heathrow made for an easy walk to the terminal and a less stressful experience all round. We will certainly stay again. Excellent

I was transiting through London for only 10 hours and I booked a room at the Sofitel. They were very kind to check me in early and Raymond delivered 2 trays of delicious breakfast to my room. He was so professional and he greeted us very nicely and also made sure that my son had a lovely breakfast with a juice of his choice. Very clean, comfy and fancy. Totally recommend for anyone transiting in Terminal 5.

Good stay for testing facility with a toddler when emigrating. Food selection not at usual sofitel standards - no rows or slippers in room. Magnifique breakfast not at usual standard due to in room restrictions. Booked a taxi to T2 for 20£ with millennium as suggested with 8 bags and a child. Arrived at T2 drop off and was then told it was 40£ for a 5 minute transfer at 7am !! Was then threatened by the driver who claimed £40 was the rate - completely untrue and seems to be a scam for tourists.

I stayed at the Sofitel London Heathrow hotel for a period of 2 days prior to returning to work. I stayed at the hotel as i was also able to get a PCR test prior to travel. The service was excellent throughout, good food and timely service. In particular the security manager was extremely supportive helping me with documentation i required scanned and printed. I will certainly use this hotel again for all travel through Heathrow.

Aartee provided exceptional service. My wife and I were in a unique situation where we found ourselves at the hotel, one early evening two, days before Christmas. Like most travellers, a flight out of heathrow isn't always guaranteed during these times and when things go wrong it can become very stressful. We went to reception but the first person we spoke with wasn't much help. We actually left the hotel, but came back in the hope that we would speak to someone else. That was Aartee. She was so wonderful and understanding. She took the time to understand our circumstances and because of her patience, she was able to find a solution to our problem. While we were there, someone else in a similar situation was also in need of help. In the end, we dealing with both parties Aartee was able to find a solution that suited each of us. Look, the hotel is good, clean, looks nice, everything you would expect from a 5 star stay. The test and rest package is also great. However, I can't emphasise enough how much influence Aartee had on our stay. The overall rating of 5 is because of the extra mile Aartee went to assist us. Thank you Aartee!
