Weekend Stay
Stayed at the Radissin and the service was excellent. The woman at the front was helpful, enthusiastic and kind! Concern that we had about individual smoking on our floor was addressed immediately. As well I left my jewelry in the room and when we contacted the hotel the were able to find it and ship it to us. Thank you to Peter St Germain and his amazing front office staff!
Not worth the effort
My family had a horrible experience here: from room keys not working to a hair clogged drain in the bathroom to crack heads setting up drugs in the upper entrance area. Through Twitter, they reached out to me and eventually discounted my stay. The corporate reps were great...the local hotel management was non-responsive. Overall, very disappointed with the experience. Even when trying to work with them to make things better, they still dropped the ball.
Radisson downtown Sudbury
Great location and value for money. Travel during panemic is difficult, we felt well cared for and safe. Pleasant and helpful staff. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Iffy walking after dark.
Not on par with Radisson brand at all
Staying here felt like I was at a cheap motel off the highway which I would have preferred... I picked this specifically due to it being a Radisson brand lodging and was quite disappointed upon arrival. After a long trip in the backwoods we just wanted a nice place to shower up and rest to split our drive up to the city.. which did not happen here. The bathrooms were old and probably one of the worst i’ve ever seen in a paid accommodation. Okay, fine old outdated rooms, furniture, etc. is acceptable and sometimes charming but a none functional bathroom? Might as well pull down that Radisson sign. There was no fan so a hot shower resulted in a Congo like atmosphere almost immediately. The shower head was from an era I have not lived in and the toilet was even worse. It also flushed like they are on a well septic system or something which was beyond annoying. The shower was clogged so I had like a foot of water to stare at in disgust of what my feet could possible be bathing in. The toilet paper seemed as if it was from recycled cereal boxes. Also no room service “due to Covid” which I found odd as all the restaurants are open?
Sudbury
Motorcycle trip spent the night here before embarking on our trip the next day - everyone was really friendly even the cops that pepper sprayed the crazy guy in the lobby. It was great - able to park the bikes in front so they wouldn’t get ripped off. Really liked the pizza machine in front
