ALL MARRIOTT PROPERTY'S SHOULD HAVE THE SAME RULES
I will never stay at this property again. Its because of numerous reasons. I used points for a night and they still held $120.00 for incidentals. The point of using points is not to use money. The front desk person stated because my DL address was 50 mile radius they held an additional $100.00 a total of 120.00. I told her I live somewhere else. She wanted to see something with my new address. I didn't feel like finding something. But after I settled in I told her I could go online and get my paystub from my job. This girl looked at me like I was crazy. So, I walked off didn't feel like entertaining her anymore. Im very high in the chain to get treated like Im not is very disappointing. Its always these three and below star hotels with all of these little silly rules that runs the customers off. I travel all the time for my job. I never had 120.00 held on my card EVER. The girl also stated the smaller Marriott hotels are individually own and set there on rules. I feel like any hotel under the Marriott umbrella all should have the same rules. Having different rules definitely confuse and sometimes upsets the customers. I feel like its poor management and poor customer service for longevity customers. Due to C19 the doors locks at 9pm. The exterior and interior is ok. But, this is definitely my last time visiting this property. The second picture is somebody's hair on the floor. I had just checked in hair was definitely not mine.
Trendy and New
This is a new hotel along Isler ct. I came here for Christmas break. Trendy and new. Grab-to-go for breakfast and they allow late check out! Friendly front desk, very clean with multiple laundry and dryer for guests. Computer is new, carpet is so beautifully designed.
Pleasant Facility Close to Greensboro!
Another "Marriott family" facility "parked" in the "halls of motels" surrounding the coliseum. Adequate parking and entrances into the facility. Staff were pleasant on check-in and check-out. Room was nice - though noise through the walls wasn't dampened very much. Mattress had seen some use over time - the valleys were "moderate", not "deep" as in the Garrison Keillor context. Shower was great - room for six, but without a door, the water covered part of the floor outside the stall. Breakfast was nice, as was the exercise room. Good location, though a little hard to find without a GPS.
Comfortable and Homely
Very clean, easy check in process, full kitchen, well laid out bathroom, comfortable bed, substantial work space, centrally located, very good breakfast, newer building, friendly staff. Con: The check in staff should listen to the needs of customers, Because of my research project, I specifically requested a room that was quiet, however she assigned me room 213, beside the elevators.
Needs staffing attention
The hotel is new and clean which is very nice and important. However, there are several things that need attention. There is a gas-like odor on the first floor. We were told this is not gas, but a venting issue that the boiler room needs another vent. It did not seem good to be inhaling air that wasn't properly vented. Breakfast closed earlier than we were told. Once our room was not cleaned and another time it got to the late afternoon and we came back to an uncleaned room. Seems they need more people cleaning.
