Dirty and broken
We stayed in a king suite for one night. The carpet, furniture and even the curtains were stained. The door to the bedroom looked like it had been beaten on. The nightstand was peeling, and the edge could’ve caused an injury if bumped. The bed linens were clean and we were only there for one night, or we wouldn’t have stayed I give this hotel the lowest rating I can, one star (because you can’t leave a review with zero stars )
Best so far on cross country trip
Very clean, bedding was amazing. Professional and very nice customer service. Rooms are hughe. I would recommend it to anyone. They even cook you full breakfast. We didn't use the pool but looked really clean.
Light sleepers don’t stay here!
Overall the hotel is decent. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. They offer free water, fresh fruit, and lemonade 24 hours a day which was really nice. There’s also a coffee and tea station available 24 hours a day! There is a nice gym and a small pool. There are also computer stations available for guest use. The breakfast was pretty decent(Oatmeal, pancake/waffle machines, cereal, yogurts, sausage. We were there for a wedding nearby. The area is very convenient and good shopping in the near vicinity. The rooms are decent and the pillows are feather and down which were very comfortable. There is also a Keurig coffee station in the room. Bathrooms have been updated and re-fitted. My complaints about this hotel are that the rooms were quite noisy. Even with our windows closed you could hear the traffic from the highway right behind the hotel. Lots of trucks and cars going by all night long. You can hear people in the rooms on either side of you. On Friday night someone was having a party next door and they were making noise and banging the doors until after 1 o’clock in the morning. You could hear everything they were saying. You can also hear housekeeping when they knock on the doors of the other rooms in the hallways early in the morning. I’m a light sleeper so was quite bothered by all of this. Like I said, staff was very friendly and accommodating. I will probably not stay here again as there were many other nicer hotels in the area for similar or less price.
Staff must be trained to refill shampoo bottles
Overall, it was fine. Lost one star for empty shampoo bottle. Positives: Large selection for breakfast. Outstanding water pressure and temperature. Negatives: Empty shampoo bottle. Rather than sample bottles, they've gone to larger pump bottles that are locked into place on the side of the shower. Seems like a positive - can only imagine how many mini-bottles fill landfills around the world. But, if you are going to do this you've GOT to train your staff to fill them on at least a monthly basis. There is no excuse for a 10+oz bottle to be completely empty upon a guest's arrival. Some restuarants have waitstaff top off salt/pepper shakers on a daily basis whether needed or not - I'm not suggesting going to that extreme but a regular interval of some sort is a must if you can't trust you staff to only fill when needed.
Would Stay Again
The hotel was very busy our weekend there but the staff kept up! Very accommodating. Pam made the best bacon ever at breakfast. Huge exercise room for a hotel. The laundry room could use a chair. The "warm" water setting was so hot, steam came off my wet clothes and use the "delicate" setting on the dryer or your clothes will bake. Great water pressure in the shower and wonderful shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner.
