More about the hotel
Chris is amazing
We travel from Baton Rouge about four times a year to enjoy the pool which is usually at a balmy 85 degrees. On this particular trip we find the pool is at a temperature that made the grandchildren's lips turn blue. Ran into Chris and asked him to check he found that the pool heater had been turned off and turned it on immediately. Later in the evening we needed comforters to build a pallet for one of the grandchildren. Again Johnny on the spot. Ran into him again the next morning, he remembered me asked how the children slept and told me to call ahead next time and he would personally insure the pool temperatures were up to expectations, This guy in perpetual motion and must never go home because the evening interaction was at about 9:00 Pm and the morning 7:00. Holiday Inn has a good man, Joe from Baton Rouge
One night stay
The hotel was clean and staff was really friendly. The bar was great with a on top of it bar tender. They went above and beyond for my fire team and really did us a solid with our fire bags (30). I want to single Ms. Jasmine out. Seriously one of the nicest people my team and I have ever encountered when traveling. Thank you guys again for making our stay not only enjoyable but easier for us. Felix
Horrible 3rd party booking excuse
I booked this hotel through Hotels.com with a rate of 125 plus free breakfast. 2 double beds. When I got to the Lobby to check in, there was one man checking in someone and a girl slouching on a chair by the computers (I’m thinking she was a guest) playing on her phone. I’m waiting for the people in front of me while other guests walk in. The girl stands and slowly walks behind the counter. She stares out the window for a while, boots the computer up and asks if she can help me. Strike 1 lazy front desk operators. Strike 2 she puts me in a king accessible room with a walk in shower. My grand daughter is scared of showers otherwise the room would have done for the one and only night we’d be here. I call to change rooms and all of a sudden they are sold out. I booked and paid for a 2 double bed room. Front desk is blaming it on hotels.com for booking it a certain way that they can put us anywhere they want. Unacceptable. I’m a travel agent and each weekend I travel to different Disney stores in the 3 states around me. I definitely will not be recommending this hotel. It’s a shame because it’s right off of I-10 and can be used as a stop for a road trip to Orlando. I will be contacting hotels.com, Holiday Inn guest services and a review On my Facebook business page with pictures of the nasty accessible bathroom floor. Strike 3 when they moved my room, the free breakfast automatically disappeared from my reservation. The only And I mean only pro...we were right near the outlet mall.
close to outlet mall and casino
When I usually go to this area, I stay in Biloxi. This time decided to stay in Gulfport here. I am an elite member. Enjoyed my stay. close to outlet mall and casino. Island view shuttle picked us up. Comfortable beds
Amazingly comfortable beds!!!
If you’re looking for a great nights stay, this is the place....beds were sooooo comfortable. Our room was very clean and the bathroom was very spacious. Staff was also very friendly. We will definitely add this location to our favorites to stop at while traveling.
