Very clean room
We stayed one night this week. Ezekiel checked us in and confirmed the rate. Smooth process. Room clean and everything worked. Scott (owner) checked us out the next morning and we had a pleasant conversation. We will return.
Great place to stay!
This is an older property but well kept and clean. The beds were really comfortable. Scott and Ezekiel (son) did a great job to make our party feel welcome. The hot tub was good (above ground in a separate building). Scott made sure we had towels. Through these challenging times of getting a good breakfast, we were provided hot pockets and a hostess cupcake. Scott also gave a great recommendation for dinner to Garlic Mike's which did not disappoint. I was also pleasantly surprised with heated floors in the bathroom in the morning! The only issue we had was with the internet dropping, but we did not report it so I can't ding Scott for that issue. If we are back in or near Gunnison, we will be returning to this property.
Family Run Not corporate!
I luv finding little gems that are run by families and not corporations. This is an old motel but they really do their best to keep it running well and smooth. Not fancy but just right! They have even figured out in these COVID times to do breakfast safely.
Amazing stay with the most friendly staff.
I am a teacher who wanted to escape the Texas heat, and the Roadway Inn was a perfect place to work and rest. Scott, the owner, and his staff were amazing hosts. Scott specifically went out of his way to make sure that my internet was working for online teaching. The rooms are modest and super clean. We will definitely be back.
Owners make this place a great place to stay
This is not a fancy place. It's a little tired looking. The owner was great. Friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. It was very pet friendly which was nice. The A/C was so loud. It was going off and on all night. I would have opened the windows instead but the people on either side were outside most of the night smoking and the smoke was overwhelming. so we had to deal with the noise. The breakfast is a bit of a joke; frozen Hot Pockets.
